“…What’s not to love about this moody styled elopement shoot at micro-wedding and elopement venue, Promise Ridge? Sitting atop a ridge in the Pocono Mountains in North Eastern Pennsylvania, our bride and groom, styled by Susan Padron, personal stylist, swirled beneath dreamy fog. The venue’s celebrant, Alisa Tongg, led the couple through meaningful vows and the lighting of a unity bonfire, creating both an eternal passionate commitment and a swirling smoke message announcing their love far and wide. The bride, in a gown designed by Louvienne from The Lovely Bride and hair and makeup by Shaneè Danielle, was captivating aside her groom, dressed by Commonwealth Proper. A jaw-dropping grey diamond set in a halo of diamonds in rose gold by L Priori Jewelry completed the ensemble, which was a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary. Stunning details like stationary by Little Carabao Studio, ribbons by Fringe and Rose, and a hand thrown earthenware ring dish by artist Margo Wunder, added to the original flair of the designer and coordinator La Rue Events’ vision. The untamed wilderness of the venue was echoed in silk and dried floral designs by Allium Everlasting. Cascading chiffon flowing from the sweetheart table with vintage furniture by Fox and Finch Vintage Rentals, later served as an incredible photo element in sunset bridal portraits. Far from typical, the cake by Clara’s Groovy Deliciousness embraced the moody, wintry color palette. Natural elements abounded, from the bird pin on the groom’s lapel and stones at the sweetheart table to the interlocking beaded pattern on the bride’s gown, which mirrored the beautiful twisted branches belonging to the forest of trees above and below.”
