Elopement With Their Closest Friends at Pyramid Point, Sleeping Bear Dunes
Reanna and Gilbert planned their elopement at Pyramid Point in Sleeping Bear Dunes. Instead of planning a big, traditional wedding, their closest friends joined them and witnessed their ceremony together in Michigan.

About This Elopement at Pyramid Point
“We started at Grand Traverse Bay Resort where they got ready and did a first look. We left the resort and made a few quick stops along the bay taking photos. We then headed over to Pyramid Point Trailhead in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore to have their Elopement at the end of the trail. We didn’t do the loop but hiked the short (less than) mile to the dunes. Kayla with The Lost Forty was their officiant.
Their ceremony was close to 7:30 pm, and we had the whole location to ourselves! This particular Wednesday the weather was absolutely perfect and some clouds even started rolling in which made for a gorgeous backdrop!
Reanna and Gilbert had some of their best friends attending. It was so nice to see them so present (phones away) during the ceremony!! They also helped set up the whole picnic!! We finished the night with some photos on the dunes and wine at sunset.” [Julie, the photographer]

Memorable Moments During This Elopement
From the photographer:
“They had the best of friends that came with them. They took such good care of them and set up a cute little picnic for them to enjoy, including homemade cupcakes that were SO good. The two I brought home with me didn’t even make it out of the parking lot leaving Pyramid Point!”
