My wife, Erika, and I stumbled upon TogetherTheory while looking for an elopement photographer and finding Kayla made the experience better than anything we could have imagined. She went above and beyond with not only capturing the day but also with the planning and making it as close to perfect as possible. Erika and I are both a bit camera shy, but Kayla made us feel very comfortable so we were able to really enjoy our wedding day! Working with her was less like working with a business and more like working with a good friend. We could feel the genuine care she had for us and our special day. She took the time to get to know us and what we wanted out of the photos and then made sure to capture each moment and detail we wanted to remember and others we hadn’t even thought about. My husband and I had a small ceremony on Indian Beach in Oregon in June. Kayla was our photographer and did an absolutely incredible job. Kayla at Together Theory was an absolutely amazing photographer for our waterfall elopement near Portland, OR. We cannot rave about her enough! Not only did she act as photographer, but also as our day of planner, officiant, and a great resource for other vendors. She was professional and so easy to work with. My partner and I eloped with Kayla in Snoqualmie Pass. We had a very short elopement planning period and Kayla was super responsive and made it such a breeze. She is so relaxed and fun, and our pictures are SO amazing. I chose her because her photography style has a more "documentary approach" than something very staged (but of course we did a couple staged-ish photos too). They're all such incredible photographs. I couldn't be happier with our elopement thanks to Kayla.

Kayla is literally INCREDIBLE. My partner and I don't love being in front of the camera, but she made us feel so comfortable & free to be ourselves. There were no forced, awkward poses or fake laughter. It was SO genuine and real, which we appreciated a ton. It made the experience so much more special and relaxed.
