We had the most magical elopement day with Oli and Steph! Their enthusiasm for Skye, knowledge of the outdoors, talent for capturing beautiful elopements and genuine passion to deliver an amazing wedding day for us really came through from our first calls/messages & we felt completely reassured that we were in the best hands.

Oli and Steph went above and beyond to help us plan the day at short notice with such kindness and generosity. We’ll be forever grateful for everything they did to help make that happen for us.

On the day itself we were so well looked after, from Steph constantly keeping an eye on the changing weather, to the cosy dry robes, the much needed hand warmers, Oli pouring delicious hot chocolates, tasty car snacks, and just generally putting us both at ease in front of the camera, it couldn’t have been more perfect.

We never had any doubt that the day would be incredible, but we really had the most fun adventure with Oli and Steph. We wish we could do it again and again! To top it off, the photos are spectacular, we’ll cherish them forever.

From the moment we stepped out of the car, were greeted by Oli and Steph, and saw the breathtaking view of The Quiraing we didn’t doubt our decision. We would do it all over again without hesitation or question.

Oli and Steph’s professionalism and kindness made us feel so at ease the entire day. To say they thought of everything is an understatement! From dry robes and hand warmers to umbrellas, snacks, and hot tea! We saw our day as intimate and magical, and that is exactly what we got with no stress. In the moments we spent with just Oli and Steph, we felt close to one another sharing small, intimate moments in breathtakingly beautiful locations. In the time spent with family, we created amazing memories.

What what a surprise was how Oli and Steph truly made our experience one in a million going to new locations and taking time to get some fun shots in (tree climbing in a wedding dress was a highlight of the day!) Then, when we received our first images, every essence was captured.

When we opened the first image, we could not continue due to the tears that began to flow. The images Oli and Steph captured were meaningful and each of holds a story. They represent us, our life, and our wedding day and continue to bring tears of happiness to our eyes. You can truly feel the emotions from the day, and we get to relive our magical day every time we look at them.

By the end of the day, we felt like we had made true friends with Oli and Steph.

Our experience with Oli and Steph was second to none. From the initial stages of planning our ceremony to the Big Day, we felt that Oli and Steph were there every step of the way with kindness, honesty, insight, and a sharp eye to make their services personal to us. They coupled their professionalism with friendly warmth, and they were prepared for any scenario for the weather. They were also attentive to our families' needs for the ceremony before we went on an adventure to The Fairy Glenn. They provide an elopement guide, which was super useful for flower arrangements, suits, bagpipers, locations, and so much more. We felt comfortable with them, as if we had known them for years, and this is to say that they went to great lengths to get to know us and why we married in Scotland. We didn't anticipate making our photographers our friends for life, but here we are.

I don’t even know where to begin with these two! From the very start Oli and Steph stood out and caught our attention. We looked through so many elopement photographers and as soon as we came across their web page we immediately knew that they were something special!

We were nervous to begin planning our elopement because we had absolutely no idea what we were doing, and so intimidated since we were trying to plan for an elopement out of country. Oli and Steph made it so incredibly easy and stress free! They have such a solid step by step planning and timeline that makes it simple to create the most perfect elopement day!! They had constant communication with us and answered any questions we threw their way. They really went above and beyond!

Our elopement day was everything we ever dreamed of and more! And the photographs are absolutely stunning!

My now husband and I didn’t know where to start when it came to planning our elopement in Scotland so naturally we just Googled “getting married in Scotland” and we found Oli & Steph and I cannot say thanks enough to whatever search algorithm brought us together. What I can say is it’s best idea we ever had! These two are not just photographers, but on the day of your wedding and even before they are your friends. Their planning guide to all things wedding related on Skye was the most helpful tool to reach out to vendors for hair and makeup (shout out to Lynn at Skye Beauty!), Flowers, and even your Celebrant depending on the type of wedding you are having. My husband and I decided to take vendor scheduling on ourselves but Oli & Steph were just a WhatsApp message away if we ever needed help.

I haven’t even gotten to the best part…the wedding day! On the day of our wedding Oli & Steph arrived at our AirBnB and right away I felt like I was seeing a friend I have known for years. They are so laid back and know exactly what they are doing. Their skills and professionalism are honestly unmatchable. They brought us snacks, and reminded us to drink water (trust me, you’ll need the reminder) and Steph even helped to tie my shoes when changing out of hiking boots. Their level of accommodations made our day feel so seamless and easy. All we had to do was tag along and enjoy it, they had the rest covered. Taking pictures and touring around Skye with them was just as fun as actually getting married that day because not only did I get a husband, but we also made lifelong friends.
