Before my husband and I eloped -A decade plus and still in love- we’d started planning a big wedding at one of our favorite festival grounds.
I’d never even been to a wedding at that point in my life and didn’t know what to expect or how anything worked.
After diving into the planning I quickly realized that the process could be a little on the overwhelming side and was also a bit taken aback at how much everything cost, which brought me to ask myself:
Is this really how we want to spend our money?
It was then that we started looking for alternatives to the traditional style wedding.
We landed on destination weddings and ultimately decided to elope in Jamaica with an all inclusive wedding package that kept every thing super SIMPLE.
You choose your location, bouquet, cake and wedding style and done.
This was more like it!
It ended up being the best decision ever, not only did we get to focus our day on our love for each other, we got to do it while having an amazing and memorable adventure together at the same time!
