When you elope, you give yourselves the gift of radical presence. It’s the practice of being in the moment, where it really counts. Cutting out the noise of expectations and doing what really, truly, unequivocally feels right to you.
Hey, I’m Meg!
I’m here to help you stay true to yourselves as you set your intentions for the future. I’m based in Kitsap County, Washington, and photograph people in love all over the PNW. My family is my everything – we’re pretty atypical and live in our own little offbeat world by the water. My teen is homeschooled with a huge emphasis on activism; my husband is my bestie, lives with a disability, and uses a wheelchair; and our three bonus fur family members are the best part of our everyday life. I’m neurodivergent and have always seen the world through a different lens, and I fully embrace it and trust in my own creative process.
As a non-traditional photographer, my approach is rooted in intuition, joy, and connection. I take my time and focus on getting to know you as people first. Then I lean into the things that make you feel at home; where you can be yourself, totally and completely. It’s a holistic experience that leaves you with photos that feel like magic.
Adventure, to me, is a mindset, not a location. It’s about choosing joy over the status quo, whatever that means to you. To aim for what resonates with your heart, over what goes viral. I don’t care if we’re in the mountains, or on the beach, or in your backyard; let’s make something different, something real, something that can’t be rehearsed.
I photograph humans of all abilities and backgrounds. Always love-inclusive. I’m big on anti-discrimination and I choose to only hold creative space for people who are on the same wavelength. I’m here to lift up love and ensure that all of my couples feel safe, seen, and celebrated. I also have a special knack for helping find accessible nature-based locations for people with varying degrees of mobility!
