When I set out to find a photographer, I knew that I wanted someone who could really capture the spirit of the day as opposed to taking a lot of highly stylized/posed pictures. Marcela fulfilled this and more.

Her photos have a depth, beauty and realness that so many wedding photos lack. I absolutely love the photos she took - which somehow manage to capture the magical setting, joy/vibrancy of the guests and those beautiful in between moments.

In addition to being such a talented photographer, Marcela was also wonderful to work with - responsive and organized from my first point of outreach. She followed-up regularly in the lead-up to the wedding and always responded to my questions promptly. At the wedding itself, Marcela made taking bridal party photos, family photos, etc. seamless and fun. She also managed to be present but not intrusive so that the photos she got really felt authentic.

I was coming from the other side of the country, with a very different and possibly very difficult project in mind that had to come together perfectly in only a few days. After talking to Marcela, viewing her portfolio and seeing how much energy she was putting into the planning my mind was totally at ease on the big day. The task at hand was an undercover shoot of a surprise proposal to my (now) fiancee. Everything went flawlessly, the photos came out great and we have an amazing photo album to show for Marcela's hard work.

I couldn't say enough good things about her. She immediately made my fiancé feel comfortable and before we knew it we were laughing like best friends. She had so many unique and creative ideas for our waterfall shoot. She also had a great turn around for getting the photos back to us. I would 110% recommend Marcela!

Marcela is just AMAZING! We booked her for our engagement pictures. She is quite a listener and showed great respect to our ideas for the engagement pics. Her creativity and artistic style were exactly what we were looking for, and she is so wonderful to work with, lots of laughter and fun during the shoot. What moved us most is that she cares deeply for her clients and is willing to try anything to deliver uniquely high-quality product. In order to get a perfect pic of me standing in water, she didn't even care to get her shoes all wet. Last of all, since we have a real short timeline and we had to get all pics within one month, she managed to give us a large selection of beautiful pictures to choose from right on time, which is very impressive!
