Hiring Katie for our wedding and engagement photos was easily the BEST decision that we made for our big day! Our photos came out so dreamy and fun, and they were better than I could have ever dreamed. My husband and I had quite a few setbacks during the planning stages of our wedding- COVID, having to reschedule our wedding multiple times, canceling our large wedding and eloping, and weather challenges. With each occurrence, Katie was flexible, understanding, and always had a plan of action to put us at ease. She helped us brainstorm ways to make our wedding work with Covid guidelines, gave us suggestions of a timeline so we could get the best light, and even though it was super windy and cold during both our engagement and wedding day photos, she made everyone look so warm and happy and really captured the essence of the day and made us look *glamorous*. Our biggest fears about hiring a photographer were that the photos just wouldn't be what we wanted/wouldn't capture the essence of our relationship and that it would be awkward posing in front of a stranger. However, Katie really takes the time to get to know you as a couple to really make sure your personality shines and you get the exact vibes that you want! The final products are incredible - dreamy and full of adventure and FUN. Katie is also the ultimate hype person and made me feel like a runway model when I literally am a potato. (Also, she gives you great posing suggestions when needed, so don't be scared if you don't know what you're doing! We didn't at all, and she guided us through it.) She came in as a photographer but left us as a great friend. I showed my photos to some close friends and family, and everyone agrees that she is the best photographer they've ever seen. Several even said it looked like a professional magazine shoot! She is super down to capture all things adventurous- if you want to climb a mountain, run through the water, or scale a cliff, but she also can make you look amazing just standing there doing absolutely nothing. If you are looking for a photographer, I would 10000/10 recommend her. She made everything so easy, she is the sweetest human, and she really was able to calm my nerves on my wedding day. Amazing work and worth every penny and so so much more.

Please, do yourself a favor and book Katie as your elopement photographer!!! Choosing her for our day was one of the best decisions we made for our entire day. We live in North Carolina but wanted to choose a location in Oregon or Washington. While this could have been a stressful experience, Katie made it so smooth. She gave us a great list of possible locations based on what we were looking for, and ended up helping us pick the PERFECT location after several discussions about all of the options. Our ceremony site was incredible. We were looking for something on the beach that highlighted the beautiful PNW coast, but was also was easily accessible for our guests and private. Katie had a suggestion that fit all of our criteria and ended up being so beautiful, quiet, and had the exact kind of coastal backdrop we were looking for.

She also provided us with her "How to Elope" guide which was full of helpful tips and things we hadn't even thought to consider. She also gave us vendor recommendations, and the florist we worked with from her suggestions was incredible. Katie kept in contact with us the entire way, and was always so positive and had the best attitude to get us excited for our elopement. She listened to all of the things we wanted to incorporate into our day and planned an awesome timeline that made great use of our day.

On the day of our elopement near Cannon Beach, Katie arrived early and was ready to go. We were very impressed with the way she was able to stay organized and keep everyone on the same page about what we were doing next. Our guests raved about Katie's organization and ability to stay on top of everything that was going on. She also made the family photo process after the ceremony super efficient and allowed us to get many different photo combinations with different family members easily. She made the decision to slightly alter our timeline on the fly due to the weather, and because of her foresight into the weather and best shooting conditions, we got some incredible photos! I'm so glad that she was paying such close attention to the weather and lighting. Because of her familiarity and knowledge of the Cannon Beach area, she suggested two very different and beautiful spots for our portraits which gave us a great variety in our photos. Portraits never felt forced. Katie gave us some gentle direction, but it never felt like we were overly posed or being asked to do anything that didn't feel like us.

After our day, Katie got us sneak peek pictures just a few days after our wedding, and our entire gallery in under a month! Our photos are incredible-Katie captured us and our personalities perfectly. I'm so glad that we will have these photos to show our families, friends, and future children. We could not have made a better choice with using Katie as our photographer. I'd choose Katie again and again- I would LOVE to do an adventure session with her if we are ever in the PNW again. I wish I could convince everyone I know to elope so that they could use Katie!

Katie photographed our adventure elopement here in Washington and I would 12/10 recommend her for your big day as well! She was incredibly professional and communicative throughout the whole process and checked in regularly the months leading up to our elopement date. On the actual day she was fun (even at 3am when we started hiking) and made us feel super comfortable being photographed. She strikes a great balance between giving direction and helping us find range in poses, but also allowing the poses to come organically from us. Our final images came out better than I could have imagined and really captured us in an authentic way.

My husband and I have loved every experience with Katie! Her communication was excellent in coordinating the shoot and she was very flexible and willing to work around last minute changes in weather. She helped prepare us for the shoot by providing guidance on clothing, etc which was extremely helpful. She took extra time getting to know us so that she could best capture who we are and what we value. The actual photoshoot was a breeze and never felt rushed, as she was 100% present. She made us feel very comfortable and guided us with prompts which made it all feel natural and not staged. She was timely in getting the finished products to us and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We would absolutely recommend Katie to anyone looking for some beautiful, authentic photos. We will definitely be using her for more photos in the future!

Being a bride during Covid times was not ideal but I am SO thankful we had Katie by our side. Our plans changed 2 weeks before we were supposed to get married when we decided to forgo our planned wedding and elope instead. Katie was not only understanding and accommodating but enormously helpful in the planning in a way that I would never have expected a photographer to be. She went from someone who was not just capturing our day but also planning the timeline, helping us pick a location, doing the site visit the day before and most importantly: making us laugh along the way! We don’t often find ourselves in front of a camera and were a little worried that it would be awkward, feel forced or not really reflect us. As soon as we met Katie for our engagement photos she made us feel extremely comfortable and did an amazing job capturing us in a way that felt very authentic and natural. When it came to our elopement, she helped us slow down and think about what our ideal day would include and how we wanted it to feel. Her advice helped us connect and experience our day together in a way that felt relaxed, truly meaningful and most importantly – fun! And not only is she a ton of fun but also extremely professional. The communication was amazing. From day one Katie was so responsive – there was not one email that went unanswered. She gave so much helpful information from what to wear for the elopement shoot to how to pose. And when she says she is up for adventure she means it. She braved the elements with us – our engagement shoot was in the middle of a down pour at the Oregon coast and the elopement brought a windstorm and climbing enormous sand dunes – and still, we were all laughing together! All of that to say, she was the best investment and I will always be grateful for all that she did to make our last-minute elopement so special and for the images we will be able to cherish forever. We feel so blessed to know Katie and can’t wait to have excuses to take more photos with her :)

Katie is absolutely INCREDIBLE! She made Ian and I feel so comfortable right from the start and she captured the best of us and our love. She made our engagement photo shoot SO fun and our wedding photos are stunning! We had the pleasure of working with Katie for some special elopement photos in Lake Powell! We just received them and are over the moon! Even my husband is critical of how he looks in photos and commented how *magical* they were! I usually have my favorite few pics after other shoots we’ve done in the past, but I can’t even choose with these because they’re all so good! My friends are going to have to deal with seeing all 50+ this time. Her editing style is beautiful, and she really knows how to capture the entire moment! I can’t recommend her enough!
