I’m Norm Roberts the Fifth, an outdoor enthusiast and elopement photographer based in California.
I specialize in elopements out west but serve the entire US and beyond. Over the last fourteen years I’ve had the pleasure of photographing just about everything; brides and grooms, models, landscapes, hotels, products, you name it. But I found there’s just something magical about photographing people. When I discovered I could combine my passion and skill for portraiture with my love of exploring the great outdoors, I was instantly converted to a lifelong pursuit of elopement photography in the great outdoors. A few scrapped knees, worn out hiking boots, and far too many bug bites to count later, I’ve loved every minute of it.

For me, elopement photography isn’t a means to a paycheck,
but a method of artistic expression. I’m not interested in the traditional posed images. I want real emotions, real moments, images that capture the real you. Be it a micro wedding or an intimate elopement, my goal as a photographer is to create meaningful photos that produce a sense of wonder in my client all while having a great time. A photo shoot should be fun! My favorite clients are the ones willing to go off the beaten path with me. There’s a big world out there, why not explore it?
