Her overall ease of her amazing work, the way she is always laid back and on top of everything at the same time, is unmatched. She is truly so talented at what she does. Whether we were hiking, taking photos, or whatever, we honestly felt like we were hanging out with a life long friend. Our families could not stop raving about Erika and her amazing photos.

Starting with her free elopement guide, Erika opened the door for us to planning our perfect day even before we hired her.

And once we did, her skills and expertise were on display everywhere. She was always quick to respond, knew great vendors to recommend, helped us get our officiant (shout out Jake), and then there are her perfect photos!

We had a small wedding so the energy of each and every person present was important to us and Erika understood our needs and vibe perfectly. She was so fun to have on the day of and made taking pictures easy, fun, and not awkward.

Erika and her husband Jake are amazing people. You expect professionalism and competency. You might even expect artistry. But what I never expected was the genuine warmth, impeccable care, and truthful humanity exhibited by this wonderful pair of humans. My fiancée and I descended the mountain as husband and wife, with two newfound friends in tow. Erika and Jake will hype you up on your day, but it isn't artificial. They both actually care about you. They will laugh with you, cry with you, dap you up, give you affirmation and love, and it's all one hundred percent genuine. The way up the mountain was filled with laughter inducing, anxiety-crushing joy. Stories and jokes. Sweat and singing. It was like we were meeting up with friends we hadn't seen in a long time.

Special shout-out to my boy Jake for singing with me, making me feel at ease, swapping lame jokes with me, and gushing about shared experiences. Jake was the officiant for our wedding and he curated the ceremony script based on my wife's and my needs. He also served as Erika's second shooter, and all around support system. Grooms, take note: I didn't have a best man, but Jake felt like my best man that day.

My wife and I are so happy that we chose to have the wedding we wanted to have, and we will never regret hiring Erika. You won't regret hiring her either.

Erika is the photographer you're looking for. As a guy who is not a fan of photoshoots, she truly makes all the uncomfortableness typically associated with photoshoots go away. The first time we all met for a consultation it was like catching up with an old friend. You could tell she truly cared about us and wanted to provide us with memories that matched our style.

We love the NC mountains, and Erika was super knowledgable about many hidden gem areas that perfectly captured that scenery. At one point during the engagement shoot we were just running and dancing on a highway overlooking a valley. We laughed throughout the whole process joking about how crazy we looked, but those pictures turned out to be some of my favorite pictures of my wife and I, and I'm so grateful Erika provided the expertise and atmosphere to capture those moments.

Our wedding was an absolute blast. The most fun I've had in years, and the perfect way to bring two families together. Erika worked fast, but in no way were we rushed. She was able to produce stunning photographs that captured our entire family. During our newlywed pictures she did it again. Erikas best photographs usually are captured after she says "you guys are gonna think I'm crazy but trust me on this one." Erika made the process so easy and we were able to get back to our reception and party! I probably sound like a broken record by now, but once again she perfectly captured the mood of the reception.

I can't recommend Erika enough. She was a vital part of of our wedding going as smoothly as it did. She was extremely professional the whole time while making us comfortable enough to be ourselves. She was always on time and absolutely nailed time management day of the wedding.
