This wedding venue is nestled in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge and a short drive away from Portland. Five Pine Lodge

Dominio IV Winery

The Orchard

With an open space and views of Mt Hood and Mt. Adams, The Orchard is a secluded and scenic venue located only five minutes from downtown Hood River. We love this wedding venue because they offer event furniture at their rental price, so you can easily achieve that Pinterest vibe you’ve been eyeing.

Looking for a wedding venue in the middle of Portland? We got you covered. Leach Botanical Garden feels like a magical, secret garden in the middle of nowhere. It’s forested with a creek, gardens, and an aerial tree walk! This is a great spot for couples looking for a venue not too far from the city.

Hoyt Arboretum

Close to downtown Portland, Hoyt Arboretum has multiple outdoor ceremony locations with scenic views. We personally love Redwood Deck (pictured above), an open wooden platform with views of redwoods and sequoias. Our other top pick ceremony locations here are Wedding Meadow and Stone Circle. Elk Lake Resort and Marina

Elk Lake Resort has some pretty amazing lake views. You also have the option of multiple lodging options here from glamping sites to deluxe homes. There’s even an event chef and onsite coordinator to help you organize your small wedding here.

Rock Springs Ranch

A hidden gem near Bend, OR. Rock Spring Ranch is a magical oasis with water views, greenery, and three ceremony sites to pick from. There are also romantic cabins you can rent for your accommodation.

Black Butte Ranch

Looking for a wedding ceremony with mountain views? Black Butte Ranch is a great venue for a small party. As of 2022, this venue is rebuilding its lodge, but they are still hosting weddings outdoors!

Highland Fields

Highland Fields is a 20-acre retreat with plenty of activities and portrait spots for couples to enjoy from hiking trails within the forest, farm, apple orchards, and more. We love this wedding venue because not only is it perfect for any size wedding, but they give you the freedom to plan how you want. You can bring all your own vendors, or you can work with them with one of their package options!

Lakeside Gardens

Seven acres of paradise is what you’ll find at Lakeside Gardens. You’ll have it all from lake views, weeping willows, gardens, and a ceremony gazebo overlooking the lake. There’s a ceremony and reception package, an intimate wedding package, and an elopement package at this location.

Bridal Veil Lakes

Overlooking Columbia River Gorge, Bridal Veil Lake is located near Portland and old-growth forests surround the lake. The area is private, so you can enjoy the lush greenery and gardens without worrying about other visitors. We also love how you can jump in a canoe and enjoy the sunset with your partner here. This spot is ideal for smaller groups and has a fairytale forest vibe.

Silver Falls State Park

Silver Falls State Park offers both elopement and wedding packages, making it a more affordable venue option in OR. Packages begin at $594 for elopements and $1779 for more intimate weddings.

Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach is probably one of the most iconic elopement locations in Oregon. You can have your ceremony at Chapman Point, Haystack Rock, Silver Point, and Hug Point. Unless you’re planning to have a big wedding ceremony (more than 50 people), then you probably won’t need a special use permit. However, if you do use any chairs or other structures, then you will need a permit!

The Columbia River Gorge

We mentioned a lot of wedding venues with views of The Columbia River Gorge, but if you want to explore this location on your own, then you absolutely can! Special use permits are required if you invite more than 75 guests or if you plan on having any tents, chairs, and such. Some popular places for your small wedding here are Cape Horn Overlook and Horsetail Falls.

Champoeg State Heritage Area

Not many people think about this location for their wedding, but it certainly makes for an amazing and affordable wedding venue option in Oregon. Champoeg State Heritage Area has water, forest, fields, trails, and gorgeous backdrops for your wedding portraits. You can also rent the historical building on-site if you need to get ready.

Unique Wedding Venues in Oregon

Silcox Hut

If you’re on our site, we know you’re looking for something far from average. Silcox Hut is a small rustic mountain lodge located at 6,950 feet elevation on Mount Hood, OR! This is a pretty amazing spot to check out if you’re planning on adventuring together before or after your wedding ceremony. We also love the stone construction, making it the perfect place to host your intimate wedding.

Horning’s Hideout

Horning’s Hideout is the perfect intimate forest wedding venue during the evenings. Couples can enjoy the pond, forest, and open fields. You can even plan on playing some disc golf! This is a really good place for feeling like you’re in the middle of the forest, but still having access to amenities.

Mt Hood Skibowl

Mt Hood Skibowl is a beautiful spot to have your small wedding in Oregon. There’s a ski lift couples can ride to their ceremony site, then they can ride an alpine slide back down. You can be surrounded by wildflowers and scenic vistas during the summer, or have an intimate wedding with the snow-capped mountain peaks of Mt. Hood in the back.
