Mike and Karissa were a God send after COVID ruined our wedding plans over and over again. Since we live all the way in Illinois and were planning a small ceremony in Utah, they helped us find the perfect place to get married, helped us find a florist and hair and makeup, and picked the most amazing lookout for sunset pictures. With their help, all of the stress faded away and our wedding day was even better than we could have ever imagined! Our pictures were done very quickly and they turned out amazing! We cannot thank them enough for helping us through this crazy time. We would 100% recommend Karissa and Mike to anyone wanting leave the stress of COVID behind or just do something different and add a little bit of adventure to their wedding.

Karissa and Mike seriously made our 2020 wedding SO perfect, despite every curveball that was thrown our way. We booked them initially for our 200+ person wedding when we came across their positive reviews and amazingly warm, striking and moving pictures we saw online (check them out on insta at @wildflowerphotoco). From the first meeting, they were so personable and engaged. We booked them right away. And through all the twists and turns of changing our 200+ wedding to a 15 person elopement, Karissa and Mike were there. They went above and beyond in their support, communication, and professionalism. They not only shot our mini-wedding but also did a 2nd day with us to grab some nature shots. They found the most amazing location and even though it was pouring rain when we got there, they were troopers and took the most AMAZING pictures once we got a break in the storm. We actually ended up using Mike to do video, and he absolutely crushed it. We’ve watched our wedding video at least 100 times and cry every time. The pictures ended up better than I could have even imagined. Not a single detail was missed and everything was captured so well. The sneak peeks they sent the next day were incredible. I literally have nothing but amazing things to say about them, so if you’re thinking of booking them DO IT. You won’t regret it, and they’ll be one of the best parts of your special day. Thank you Karissa and Mike!

We hired Wildflower for our wedding recently. They were recommended to us by a close friend, and I'm so glad they were. I don't think we can say enough about how spectacular they are. They made us feel at home, they went above and beyond for us, and they delivered amazing photos. Everything was perfect. Karissa and Mike have a knack for photography, a positive and friendly personality, and a genuine care and love for their job and for your special day. If you're looking for a photographer, give them a shot; you'll be happy you did.

Wildflower Photo Co. did an incredible job with our wedding photography. They are extremely responsive, work with you to map out the ideal photography for your big day, really know their stuff and capture absolutely stunning photography (seriously, our friends and family couldn't stop raving about them!). They also ended up being the saving grace of our big day. We initially had a large wedding planned for the summer, but due to COVID-19, we ended up having to elope without our family and friends. Karissa updated our plans and was so flexible, kind and empathetic about how difficult this decision must have been for us. The whole process was so seamless and she made our big day so much less stressful. She mapped out a day shooting in Red Rocks Canyon and captured really stunning photos, but also allowed us little moments to soak up the day along the way, really making our big day so special. She also sent us a selection of photos 24 hours after our big day, which was awesome, especially since none of our family or friends were there. It allowed us to share these photos with them a day after the event, allowing them to get a special glimpse into our big day, which was really special.

Every time I think I’ve finished this testimonial, I think of more good things about Karissa and Mike to add :) Beyond being incredibly talented photographers, they are both such wonderful human beings who care so much about what they do, work hard to always give you their best, and truly make you feel like family. We first met Karissa and Mike when they photographed our friends’ wedding; it was the first time I ever remembered a photographer and it was because of their fun, positive energy. When my partner and I got engaged, they were the first vendor we booked. We had a FaceTime interview and connected with them right away—from their love for nature and outdoor adventures, to their balance of professionalism and down to earth friendliness—and felt so comfortable talking to them. We also loved the natural style, masterful use of lighting, and variety of shots used in their photography to capture moments so authentically and intimately. Then the pandemic hit in 2020 and after having to go through the difficult process of canceling our original wedding, finding a new venue, and planning a different celebration for a year later, we discovered how even more wonderful Karissa and Mike were. Feeling discouraged at various stages, they helped research and send us an extensive list of other venues that fit our aesthetic and budget, and checked in with us regularly to give moral support, answer questions, and offer solutions. They encouraged us to still celebrate this year which led to us deciding to elope with our immediate family—and it was the best decision and happiest weekend of our relationship. Karissa and Mike also helped plan our elopement, making us feel excited again about wedding planning by sending us great location options, sharing expert advice/knowledge on the challenges and advantages of getting married at the top two places we were deciding between, and then preparing an organized timeline for the day that incorporated our ideas and feedback. Then there are the photos we received from Wildflower Photo Co for our engagement session and elopement weekend...even more amazing than we could have imagined. From the expressions on people’s faces, to the beauty of the natural landscape, to the capturing of small details and moments we didn’t even notice at the time, to just plain making us and our family look good, the photos allow us to relive these special memories and bring us so much joy. Sneak peaks were delivered super fast the next day and the remaining photos about 6 weeks later. We are thankful to have met Karissa and Mike, and feel incredibly lucky to have them photograph and be alongside us for life’s big moments. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

Karissa and Mike were a dream Wedding Photographer duo. When I first started my wedding photography hunt, I was immediately drawn to their style, especially their double exposures. There’s just something so magical about a landscape shot paired with an intimate couple shot. I had to have one for myself. I had spoken with several wedding photographers and I just knew that Wildflower Photo Co. were the best match for what I had envisioned for my wedding. Not only were they extremely friendly, but their pricing was undeniably reasonable. We had been talking back and forth, finalizing the wedding day schedule, when COVID hit. We were devastated. A month before our wedding, we had to postpone all of our plans. I honestly don’t think I would have gotten through the heartbreak if it wasn’t for Karissa and Mike. Not only were they super flexible with the postponement of our wedding, but they were constantly checking in, sharing resources, and we even facetimed with them several times to discuss options. After much discussion, my partner and I decided we would elope two months after our original wedding date. We knew that even though we couldn’t have the wedding we had planned, we wanted to document the moment we finally said “I do”. Karissa met us at the courthouse where we eloped and took the most beautiful photos. We still got to do our first look too! Prior to the elopement, she shared several parks that were near the courthouse for us to take some photos after the elopement ceremony. In addition to the elopement day, Karissa and Mike also joined us as we hosted a very intimate, immediate family only, “reception”. They were so accommodating and willing to make sure we still had our special “days”. I couldn’t have asked for better wedding photographers. Not only did they make our celebrations feel special, but they delivered some of the most beautiful wedding photographs I could have imagined. It really made the experience that much more special. I HIGHLY recommend booking Karissa and Mike. They are professional, super friendly, and talented. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found them.

Karissa and Mike did such an amazing job! They captured really great shots, not only on our engagement shoot but also on our pandemic wedding day. We are so grateful for their attention to detail and how the photos bring out the energy and excitement of our wedding. Karissa and Mike are so easy to work with and they are super personable. And we really loved the video of our wedding too. Mike did a great job - it almost looks like cinema! They are the best wedding photographers in LA! I hope that everyone couple has the same supportive and creative photographers documenting their day as we did.
