Oh, Lisa and Alex...these two will forever hold a very, very special place in our hearts. Our wedding day was the most magical day of our lives, and we owe a lot of that to them. When we began wedding planning, we were on the fence about also getting videography. We stumbled upon their work and the moment we watched it and were brought to tears while watching strangers’ weddings, it was a done deal. Their work is absolutely beautiful, and our wedding was no exception. We’ve had a ridiculous number of compliments come in about our photos/videos. Close friends have described our videos/photos as “so us,” which truly speaks to their ability to capture and portray you as YOU. They SO accurately captured the nerves, emotions, and pace of our big day, and we are transported back to those special moments every single time we see our videos/photos. For that, we are forever grateful.

The dedication of these two to their couples throughout the entire planning process is astounding (they must not sleep or something!). They work SO incredibly hard to create an experience that is true to each couple’s vision and come to you with no judgment as to what you want or don’t want to include in your day. On top of all this, they are truly wonderful human beings! We consider ourselves so lucky to have developed a friendship with them through this experience. Their artistry and talent are somehow matched by their humility and graciousness. They are true to themselves and their work - a genuineness that is so endearing and can be hard to find.

From the Zoom introduction to the last picture atop the mountain on our wedding day, we have known that they were the best fit for us. They have such a natural way of making you feel like you’ve known them forever, like good friends you haven’t seen for awhile but still feel comfortable with. I’ll be honest...now that we have all of our photos and film I feel like a chapter is closing that we just don’t want to end. Wow, where do we even begin! It started several years ago when we came across Lisa and Alex’s wedding video. We were captivated by the way they overlapped footage of epic scenery with audio from their vows. We instantly knew that that was the type of wedding we wanted to have one day. Intimate, adventurous, and memorable with close friends and family. We followed them on social media for years and were the first people we contacted after getting engaged. (Literally, our elopement meeting with them was scheduled only 5 days after getting engaged).

Their recommendations led us to finding our locations, officiant, and hair and makeup professionals. They provided suggested deadlines to finish tasks, that made everything extremely easy. We were never stressed at any point of planning our wedding, which is saying something considering we were all traveling out of state and had never been to the location! Without their help, it would have been overwhelming making everything feel monumental, personal, and adventurous all at the same time. We honestly cannot imagine a better day, and it’s all because of their help.

We fought through COVID-19, Colorado’s historic wildfires, ceremony relocations/weekend/ events, and so much more, and they helped us through all of it so effortlessly and with so much insight we just didn’t have over Colorado even though we live here too, and that comes front their experience which was invaluable to us! There’s a reason we chose to invest in Vow of the Wild, and we were not disappointed! These brides could not speak more highly!

Today is our 1 year anniversary (holy smokes, time flies!) and I’m just bursting at the seams with gratitude. Lisa and Alex were truly our anchor in both the planning process and the ceremony itself. They put all the puzzle pieces of vague ideas together into something that seemed doable and exciting, rather than overwhelming. They are incredibly professional but also warm and caring, so they immediately put you at ease. The jitters go away (mostly!) and you know you’re in good hands. My husband and I are two goofballs who are usually pretty awkward in front of cameras, but Lisa and Alex somehow managed to make all of our pictures look effortless and beautiful. My favorite thing about our photos is that they authentically captured us, our relationship, and all the happiness from that day. You always hear that your wedding day flies by and it’s true. Now, it almost feels like a dream, but our photos put us right back to that day. All those warm fuzzy feelings come right back, because Vow of the Wild caught the real, in-between moments and small details that added up to make our day so special.
