Our wedding days are the happiest of our life because of Vannessa and Coleman. In an effort to make our elopement as smooth as possible we met with over a dozen photographers who specialize in adventure elopement, and we knew within minutes of meeting Vannessa and Coleman that they were the people we wanted by our side on our wedding day. Every photography team we met with was talented, personable, and organized, but they truly stood out in their dedication to their art, experience in the backcountry, and fun loving personalities. We met frequently over Zoom leading up to the elopement, and every call left us feeling more energized and at ease. They made the planning process feel fun and exciting, rather than overwhelming or intimidating! We ultimately selected an alpine lake in Washington that we would hike to over the span of two days through a 10 mile hike requiring 3000 feet of elevation gain. On our elopement, Vannessa and Coleman took care of the hard stuff so we could focus on each other, all while taking photos and video without ever making it feel like a photoshoot. Many backpacking trips yield unpleasant surprises, and this was no different. We were forced to pivot many times along the way; wildfire smoke, unexpectedly cold temperatures, and even severe illness could have easily ruined our positive memories of the day. Instead, they handled every challenge with grace and the assurance that comes from experience. They were as excited as we were about every aspect of our wedding, and that allowed our experience to be filled with so much love and laughter. We would choose them ten times over and can’t recommend them highly enough!

We hired Vannessa and Coleman for our adventure engagement photos and then our adventure elopement. We wanted snowy mountain pictures and we got two very different locations and weather conditions, but each was uniquely beautiful in their own way. They really know how to take any weather condition and turn it into something gorgeous. They are extremely easy to work with and go above and beyond to make sure it is an enjoyable experience. I cannot recommend them enough, they are truly amazing!

I got married on the side of the road. Now granted, it was on the side of the most magical road in the middle of the North Cascades mountains overlooking a dreamy turquoise-colored lake, but that doesn't sound as fun. My only requests for our elopement ceremony was an epic location and a photographer to capture it. Vannessa checked off not one, but both boxes! When snow and rain (thank you, PNW) thwarted our plans to marry in a location with views of Rainier, Vannessa came to the rescue and suggested Diablo Lake. What resulted was not only a magical day that I will never forget, but breathtaking pictures that I will treasure forever. I can't recommend Vannessa enough!

Best photographer around! Came out on our wedding day which was more than 100 degrees and then agreed to meet us at Crystal Mountain when it was about 20 degrees. Vannessa has a great personality and has awesome ideas. I love our wedding photos and couldn't be more happy. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
