REDEFINING WEDDING FILMS THROUGH STORYTELLING

Hello I am Emma Wilson. I am so excited to be here because you and I have a shared vision. I am driven by a desire to redefine wedding films through extraordinary storytelling and you’re searching for something different; much more than an elopement or wedding film, you want an experience that allows you to relive your day moment by moment in a beautiful, timeless and cinematic film.

I am the Founder and Creative Director of Story Of Your Day, a destination wedding film company, delivering highly-curated films for couples who share my vision and passion for storytelling.

I am based in the iconic alpine village of Wengen in the heart of Switzerland, perfectly located to film proposals, elopements, intimate weddings and even larger events here and in neighbouring France, Italy and Austria but also throughout Europe and around the world.

As one of Europe’s leading female wedding videographers, storytelling is in my DNA and evolved from working at the BBC for two decades, as a journalist and filmmaker, which taught me a really powerful lesson – that no two stories are the same.

For me, being a destination wedding videographer is all about having the opportunity to retell a once-in-a-lifetime compelling love story, to offer clients the ultimate experience and to deliver an heirloom in the shape of an exceptional and unique film.

So in essence, I tell stories about people, places and love. Simplicity is key. Discretion paramount. You’ll hardly notice I’m there while I capture your day as it unfolds naturally.

Throughout the whole process we’ll work together on your vision and combine that with my years of experience in the industry. I pride myself on my philosophy of ‘integrity without compromise’ and work hard to achieve the highest level of excellence throughout the whole experience.

I also run a destination management company, The Swiss Concierge, so if Switzerland is on your radar, and why on earth wouldn’t it be, I can help you plan your dream proposal, elopement or intimate destination wedding.

Love Intertwined - A Davos Love Story

For our adventure winter wedding it took us ages to find a videographer. Mainly because we wanted to go SKIING in our wedding apparel and of course, we wanted a quality video of that! Not only was Emma able to come with us on ski’s, she also filmed almost every minute of our wedding day! Afterwards she made us the most beautiful wedding video and took the time to make it perfect for us.

Adventure Wedding in Fiss

Story of Your Day was absolutely amazing! My husband and I were married in Switzerland in the same church my grandparents were married 72 years ago, and we wanted to tell their love story as well as ours. Emma was wonderful! She totally took our vision and story and made it something beyond what we could imagine. We were able to share the video with our family and friends at our reception in Dallas as well.
