Making the exciting decision to elope across the country was exhilarating, overwhelming, and terrifying all at the same time. We knew that we wanted a simple ceremony in a beautiful place with just a few of our favorites present. The only thing we had super high expectations for was amazing photos to capture our special moments and day. After scouring the internet reviewing all of the different photographer’s portfolios and packages available, we fell head over heels for Samantha’s work. She had photographed an elopement in the exact spot where we had chosen to say our vows (Horseshoe Bend, Page, AZ) and her pictures were breathtaking. We reached out and she was extremely friendly and willing to chat right away. We went through our plan of hiking out to Horseshoe Bend and some of our ideas. Samantha helped provide a wealth of information all about the process we would need to go through for permitting, places we could use for cake, flowers, hair, makeup, dinner, and even helped me pick colors for my daughters dresses that would photograph well in the setting. She was super communicative and available for all of our questions throughout our planning. She put together a detailed timeline for our day which helped to make everything run perfectly smooth and allowed me to plan all of the other pieces for the day. She showed up on time with a big bright friendly smile ready to adventure with us. We never felt rushed or unnatural/uncomfortable. She captured our entire adventure from the first look at the beautiful Airbnb we found up until our hike out of the park under the moonlight as newly weds! We could not have asked for a more perfect photographer for our special day. Our photos are breathtaking just like the ones that helped us find her. We are so blessed to have met Samantha!!

I want to start by saying I have never hired a photographer in my life except to my elopement and Samantha was the most amazing and patient photographer I have met. Since the very beginning she has been communicative about how we wanted our elopement to go. Being as it was our only elopement ever we leaned on her advice quite a bit and it could not have been better if planned had been anyone else. Over the months we discussed ideas and plans for the day until we finally had a perfect day planned out for my wife and myself. During the first moments we met and throughout the day Samantha was extremely patient with us and very kind. The pictures she took were so wonderful, EVERY SINGLE ONE! We never expected how the day would turn out or how an elopement should go but with Samantha's expertise the day was one of if not the best day of my life. I will never forget the day until I die and thanks to Samantha's photographic skills, it will be a day I can look back on any time I wish.

We used Samantha for our elopement recently and couldn’t have made a better choice. We originally wanted to have the whole shabang for our wedding but soon realized at the end of the day, we just wanted an intimate ceremony in a great location. I looked at many elopement photographers and spoke with a few but it just didn’t seem like a good fit. Once I reached out to Samantha, all my worries about eloping went away. She worked with us the whole time and made the process very easy and not stressful at all. My husband and I are the most awkward people and cannot pose to save our lives but somehow Samantha worked her magic and we have beautiful photos we can look back on for the rest of our lives.

I can't express how fantastic our elopement pictures turned out. From the moment I contacted Samantha with just an inquiry to the day we got our pictures back she stayed in contact the whole time and did an outstanding job. We originally thought we wanted to get married at horseshoe bend but after talking with Samantha and getting some great information we decided to go to Sedona with our families! My husband and I don't get a lot of pictures taken together so we aren't the greatest in front of a camera... but Samantha made us feel and look very comfortable. She also informed us on what to expect during our hike and that was extremely helpful. 10/10 recommend using Samantha to capture such beautiful memories!

I found Samantha’s photography page via Instagram. I loved her work and messaged her. She was quick to reply and very informative. I, at that time, had never been to Arizona. I told her my vision and she walked me through ALL the steps. She was such a joy to work with. Any questions I had along the way, she was willing to answer. Samantha captured one of the most important days of my life, my elopement day. It was absolutely PERFECT thanks to her talent and knowledge of the area. My pictures turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined. I hope one day I’ll be able to book with her again!

Where do I even start! My husband and I found Samantha’s photography via Instagram just a couple months after getting engaged and I was immediately drawn to her work. I loved how “real” the photos were. Rich tones, texture, authentic colors, liveliness, and a mix of “classic” wedding shots and more candid. We decided we’d have engagement photos done as well in order to meet Samantha leading up to our big day and see her work on a personal level. She is personable, bubbly, kind, passionate about her work, extremely detailed and planned out and the end result was even better than we imagined. Fast forward to wedding day and those photos were somehow even more amazing! Leading up to the big day, Samantha was prompt and helped guide us in decisions regarding location/timing etc. She was super early day of wedding and was able to capture all the little moments I forgot to think of and she was the perfect addition to our relaxed micro wedding. She honestly felt like a guest by the end of the day! A super talented guest. I am so blown away by the end result. She perfectly captured everything about our day and made it something my husband and I can reflect on forever. I plan to hire Samantha for any future big life moments.

Two words: book her. That’s it! Book it, do it, you will not be disappointed. Samantha was there every step of the way helping my ‘now husband’ and I plan the big day, find vendors that she has personally worked with, cool things to do while on location, and most importantly- calm us down and keep us on schedule. She was our helper and our friend! Personally I feel so awkward taking pictures, but she did such a good job of making us feel calm and beautiful- which captured the most perfect pictures. She has such a calming presence and you can’t help but fall in love with her. She is professional and talented, and has definitely found her calling. We love her. Nothing but positive reviews. Do it!
