Hi, I’m Lisa – a traveling photographer for the adventurous, bold, and fun! Defying traditions and crushing expectations, one couple at a time!
MY APPROACH + STYLE
Like 99% of my clients, I’m horribly awkward in front of the camera. My face immediately contorts into a forced smile… aaaaand for some reason I also make T-Rex arms. So, I fully get it, and because of this, I strive to create a relaxing environment where you can stop worrying about the camera and, instead, focus on enjoying yourself (because nobody wants a full wedding album of weird-ass dinosaur hands). After all, this is YOUR day, and you should be comfortable during every second of it. So, while my photos may look really dramatic and posed, we were probably joking around only seconds prior.
Additionally, I’m ALL about: capturing true love and emotion in epic landscapes, being laidback but also extremely organized, supporting equality + diversity, offering advice/guidance to my couples at every step of the way, worldwide travel, fluffy pets, dry white wine, the oxford comma, and 90’s music.
I’m NOT about: following conventional paths, discrimination because of who you love, forced poses/smiles, empty small talk, and cucumbers.
A few of my favorite places to get married in Northern CA include Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Big Sur, Point Reyes, and anywhere with mind-blowingly giant trees (the Sequoias and Redwoods take my breath away every time I visit).
Originally from MA, I now live in Southern CA and travel around the US (and internationally) as frequently as possible (much to the chagrin of my jerky rescue pets and excessive plant collection). My husband and I eloped ourselves in Big Sur, CA with just the two of us, a photographer, and an officiant, so I fully understand the process from both sides of the camera lens. I know how it can be challenging to plan your elopement from scratch, so I use my past experiences, as both a bride and vendor, to try and eliminate stress throughout the process for my clients.
I’m a firm believer in equality and firmly support both BLM and the LGTBQ+ community, as well as environmental causes. Besides volunteering locally with animal and conservation groups, I also donate a portion of each booking to vetted nonprofits that support these causes.
My Northern California packages start at $4400 and fully include:
