Do you know how I know eloping is where it’s at? Because I did it. I eloped in Italy with my partner. We rented a boat and drifted along the Sardinian coast drinking cheap beer we bought at a local convenient store. We said our vows atop a mountain that I found remotely from my office in New England. I found my dress at a thrift store for $25-it was actually more expensive to get it altered! We ended our night on a rooftop terrace sharing a five-course meal over local cannonou wine and did our first dance in our hotel room in our PJs. This is exactly the day I dreamed of. I want people’s wedding day to be the full expression of who they are whatever that looks like, if you are brave enough to be yourself and you want someone to help tell the story that you will then pass along to your grandchildren I am the photographer for you. It is a brave act to be yourself and I help couples tune out all the noise and look inward and create a day that represents them uniquely. It is not about getting the shot, it is about your photos actually representing the real moments – and for the real moments to be spent doing everything you ever dreamed of.
