Hi! My name is Amelia Shahan. I’m an elopement photographer based out of Missouri, traveling throughout the US. I focus on elopements and intimate weddings as I think every couple deserves the wedding day they desire. You deserve more than a photographer who just takes great photos, but one who has a knowledge of who you are as a couple.

I prefer the hidden gems, the places less known, spending much of my travels actively seeking them out to offer to couples as an option for their elopement. I believe your ceremony should be an intimate experience and accessible to everyone. An intimate backyard wedding to a two-day backpacking elopement. I help couples plan their next adventure however they wish to celebrate it.

My husband and I eloped ourselves as we wished to focus on ourselves. Eloping has changed its definition over the last thirteen years or so, and now it is a lot more fun for those considering it as an option. I love that it has grown into a way for couples to focus on their story and how they wish to celebrate the day they commit to each other. I am happy that we eloped and when we renew our vows, eloping again is definitely the plan.
