Alex and Kelly (the In Love and Adventure team) are the best. Full stop. As a couple from out of state, we really depended on their expertise to find a location that met our admittedly long wish list: wildflowers, a body of water, beautiful mountains, possible alpenglow, remote yet without being too hard to get to. They proposed several locations, and when we decided to go with our back up location the day before our wedding, they were so flexible and accommodating. They made sure we had a timeline that worked for us, and even made sure we knew when we could make an appointment to get our license.

The day of our wedding was an absolute dream. As someone who always feels awkward in front of a camera, Alex and Kelly were the ultimate hype squad, and the pictures they captured feel so authentic while conveying the magic we felt that day.

Honestly I don’t even know where to begin, or how to convey how wonderful their planning and photography is. We booked an elopement from out of state (Arkansas) with no idea of what to expect, but I’m so happy we decided to book with Kelly! (This was my first time in colorado.) We received detailed information on how to plan and make decisions regarding our elopement, as well as the most breathtaking photos I’ve ever seen. Before choosing a location we did the provided questionnaire, which was actually a super fun/romantic date night for us. Kelly helped us choose an amazingly fun and gorgeous location, and helped us navigate a dog friendly elopement. She was insanely good at posing/suggestions, as well as photographing the natural moments and making a comfortable environment. This will be everything you want and more in photography/elopement session.

We had a fall elopement with both Alex and Kelly for 12hrs in Colorado (sunrise and sunset). I want to start by saying how pleased we both were with the entire package offered. It wasn’t just the photos, but the entire experience that was spectacular. Alex and Kelly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day imaginable, and one that was stress free. By the end of the day, it felt like we were old friends.

Alex and Kelly were a dream to work with. We planned our elopement in only 3 weeks and they were with us to help plan every step of the way. From the early stages, and throughout, they kept an open line of communication and worked with us to determine the best timeline and locations for our special day.

Alex and Kelly have a keen eye for capturing special moments. We were blown away by the pictures and how they brought out the best in us on our wedding day. Alex and Kelly struck a perfect balance between professionalism and fun. They helped us orchestrate the day around key activities in a way that worked for us. They brought a level of experience that we would never have been able to plan ourselves.

We felt that Alex and Kelly were genuine people and were truly excited to take part in our celebration. This made the photography experience feel more comfortable. It felt more like hanging out with friends on a hike rather than a staged event.

Finally, Alex and Kelly were extremely supportive when we had an unexpected change the night before our wedding. They helped us craft a Plan B, on short notice, that turned out better than we could have imagined. A testament to their experience and professionalism.

Would absolutely recommend them as photographers for your adventure/elopement. We are 100% happy that we booked with them.

Alex and Kelly were absolutely phenomenal from day one! I contacted a few other photographers before finding Alex and Kelly and I immediately fell in love with their style and the way that they captured each moment. I reached out and they quickly responded and set up a time to talk. From our first conversation it felt like we were talking with old friends. As we discussed our vision for our elopement day they shared our excitement and we went over a theoretical timeline of what the day would look like. It was evident that they were experienced and professional. As soon as we hung up the phone I knew that we would be booking with them!

In the months leading up to our elopement, Alex and Kelly did all of the legwork behind the scenes - getting permits, nailing down the timelines, and figuring out the best plan for the day. They were patient and worked with us even though we changed our location multiple times - always responding to us in a timely manner! Each time I suggested a new possible location they were right there to provide adventure ideas, AirBnB options, etc. etc.

When the big day arrived, they were right on time and were so prepared! They had backpacks full of everything you could need, including hand warmers which were so appreciated on a chilly October morning. I highly recommend the 12 hour day - it was enough time to go at a relaxed pace and enjoy the day while being able to document everything. They were with us from sunup to sundown and never missed a beat - literally laying in the dirt and climbing up the canyon walls to get the best angles.

Less than 24 hours after they departed, we had over 40 sneak peek photos and a month after our wedding we had all of our photos. I was thrilled with the turnaround time but more importantly, the quality of the pictures!

I can't recommend Alex and Kelly enough! 11/10, 5 Stars, A+ people and photographers. Book them for any of your adventure photography needs and you will not be disappointed!!!

Allie: Alex and Kelly were amazing in all of the preparation for and on the day of our wedding. They provided recommendations for location of ceremony, time, and activities to do around the area. The photo shoot after the event was incredible. The pictures are perfect. It was everything we could have hoped for and more with these two. Thank you very much for being apart of our day!

Zach: I can’t recommend Kelly and Alex enough! Kelly went beyond and above throughout my entire wedding planning phase to help me figure out all of my vendors, and answer any and all questions I had. They worked hard to plan the most perfect day with multiple shooting locations, and captured our special day perfectly. Their personalities are so much fun, and we loved being around them. It felt more like we were hiking with our friends, instead of just our photographers! All of our photos turned out stunning, and exceeded our expectations by miles!

We are so happy that we decided to go with Alex and Kelly to take pictures for our elopement. They were so sweet and helped us every step of the way. We were nervous planning at first because we’d never been to the area we eloped in before but they helped us find the perfect location to say our vows!

We got our pictures back not long after we got back home, and we are IN LOVE with them! They captured the day perfectly. Reviewing through them with my husband it was like we were back in Colorado.

Meeting Alex and Kelly felt like reuniting with long lost friends and they gave us some pretty great recommendations for food in the area as well (we liked the place so much we went twice while we were there!).

We got a little altitude sick while we were in the mountains but Alex and Kelly were super helpful and flexible with our small change of plans. Alex and Kelly are so talented and kind, we’d definitely recommend them for any couple looking for someone to capture their big day.

It was an absolute DREAM working with Alex and Kelly. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were having the best day possible. It was like having 2 cheerleaders hyping you up the entire day. You could really tell these two have passion about photography. 10/10 would recommend! We plan on using them again in the future.
