Hi, I’m Frances Beatty. I live in an old house in a cozy village nestled in the wooded hills south of Georgian Bay, Ontario, north of Toronto. A love for old cameras, genuine film, and natural light inspired me to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography–a sensitive eye for personal storytelling and a wide open heart have led me to photograph nearly three hundred weddings and intimate elopements all around the world.
I believe in capturing moments as they organically unfold to reveal the truth and beauty of my clients. I unveil intimate connection, delicate feeling, and document honestly to create authentic, timeless images. My easy-going nature makes it easy for couples to relax and be their truest selves–throughout the day, I want to feel as much a trusted lifelong friend as your hired photographer.
It’s all about human connection. The realness. The quirks and idiosyncrasies and small details that make your relationship beautiful and unique. I always strive to create an effortless, joyful daylong experience, never an uncomfortable on-trend photoshoot. Helping you create captured moments that will resonate for generations is a privilege I cherish and never tire of.
Let me tell your love story. Together, we will create images to make you hold your breath, laugh, smile, and bring tears back to your eyes as you relive the day’s intense and amazing emotions. I’m here to preserve the feeling, to focus on taking it all in and capturing it all, so you can focus on what truly matters… enjoying one of the best and most beautiful days you will ever get to live.
