Kathryn is the BEST!! ❤️ We had our elopement in Mount Rainier National Park, and she did such an amazing job capturing our day. From beating us to our sunrise ceremony location, to creating a beautiful film that brings us to tears, and a lot of badass hiking with her heavy gear in between, Kathryn exudes the warmth, adventurousness, and professionalism necessary to be the perfect elopement videographer.

Kathryn’s portfolio speaks for itself, her style is exactly what we were looking for, and from our first phone call we could tell she was going to be a lot of fun to work with while also having a very comforting presence.

On the day of our elopement, Kathryn was the wallflower we were looking for during the intimate parts of the day. She was able to capture all of her footage just going with the flow, and she worked incredibly well with our photographer. Kathryn drove on dirt roads and did multiple high intensity hikes to capture the various parts of our day, including a 1300 ft elevation gain over 1.5 mile for our evening shoot, and then hiking back down at night. She’s incredibly sweet and helpful, and brings the perfect energy to your wedding day.

When we received our video, it was exactly what we were hoping for. It told the story of our wedding day perfectly, both how it was and how it felt. It was incredibly heartfelt in the most artistic way possible and our vows are weaved in perfectly. We tear up every time we watch it. Thank you so much for everything, Kathryn! You and the work you create are pure magic :)

Kind. Caring. Skilled. Understanding. Communicative. Flexible. Relaxed. Relatable. Creative. Friendly. Focused... are a list of words that come to mind when I think of Kathrun and the hard work and effort she provided to my husband and I for our elopement day.

Coming to the decision to elope adventurously was an easy one for us as a couple. We know what we wanted and she had no reservations about helping us make that happen for and with us.
Kathryn guided us seamlessly through our time, ideas, thoughts and planning. As well as through the uncertainty of panning a marriage during the beginning of COVID-19.
She had grace and put heart into everything she did to make our day just what we wanted it to be. She took time to understand us as people and as a couple, which showed in our film.
I could go on and on pouring my heart out about how great a choice Evergreen Era is!

I feel like no matter how many times I try to write this review, it can’t do justice to the amazing experience we had working with Kathryn! Kathryn is AMAZING!

My husband and I just knew from our first phone call that we had to work with her. During our talk, we felt like we could be ourselves during the whole process. She was supportive in what we wanted in our elopement and it never felt like we had to do something that wasn’t us. She had very thoughtful and sincere suggestions and questionnaires that helped us when we were brainstorming ideas for our wedding day.

As for the video, we love our wedding film! It was exactly what we were hoping for! She was able to capture the natural silly moments, the foliage on our hikes, the giggles, our dog’s ears flapping in the wind, and the mountain views. Kathryn is a storyteller and we love not only the way she captured the details, but the emotions of the day. She also worked well alongside with our photographer. Kathryn will take the hikes with you and she also comes prepared with a lot of equipment that might come in handy on rainy days or in case of emergencies.

There’s also a lot more to appreciate outside of videography with Kathryn! We absolutely love her warm, sweet, easygoing spirit and her positive energy. We always felt supported and that we were in good hands from planning to our actual wedding day. Kathryn is also environmentally conscious which is a huge plus! She took into consideration our carbon footprint during the elopement and works to offsets it. She gave tips on how to have a more environmentally friendly elopement as well. Working with Kathryn has been an absolute joy from beginning to end! Our wedding film is something we and our families will cherish for many, many years to come! A million times worth it!
