We do things a little bit differently around here…
You’ve seen all the fancy, glamorous weddings all over Pinterest and you think to yourself, “these are beautiful, but just not me at all.”
You want something that matches your personality, both as a couple and as individuals, not just another cookie-cutter wedding with a $50,000 budget and the same ole’ stiff poses.
You want a wedding day that actually focuses on you…
…fueled by quality time and intention, with a backdrop of adventure and pure joy!
That’s where I come in. We dig deep. We work together to make sure that your marriage and relationship shine through by crafting a fun, soulful experience and documenting the moments as they unfold naturally, without all the stiff, awkward posing. This is real, organic, and truly you!
An adventure elopement isn’t posing for photos from sunup to sundown. This is the two of you genuinely doing fun things together, in your natural element. I am the fly on the wall for most of it, preferring a photojournalistic take. A lot less posed and a whole lot more candid. I do give gentle prompts and direction when called for, to guide you as you interact with each other naturally.
So now… what does an adventure elopement in Texas even look like?
Well, what do you like to do together? Are you avid hikers or paddlers? Do you prefer cozy, relaxed evenings over a fire, cold beers, and tacos? Or maybe there’s a bucket list item you’ve both been dying to do, but everyday life and work responsibilities just get in the way. There are all sorts of ways to make your day an experience you will never forget! Do you want to experience a favorite spot nostalgic for the two of you or do want to see somewhere new you’ve never been together?
- Hot-air balloon rides over North Texas
- Cozy cabin retreats in San Antonio
- Horseback riding through the Texas Hill Country
- Camel treks in Big Bend
- Kayaking the East Texas Marshes
You get the idea…
Your options are only limited by your imagination. Luckily, you have me as your Texas location guide! I’ve spent decades camping, hiking and exploring this magnificent state and know all the best trails, places to stay, unique things to do, and of course, where to eat!
I’m your travel guide, photographer, and your officiant! Yepp. That’s right. I’m legally ordained and can sign off on your marriage license for those looking for a truly “just us” vow experience.
