If you're searching for the best photographer of all time, look no further. I was at a wedding where Dawn was the photographer, she was crying tears of joy for the couple and I remember thinking "I want my photographer to be that invested in my wedding!" My husband and I weren't engaged yet though. A year goes by and my husband pops the question and the first thing I remember talking about when planning the wedding was "so can we hire Dawn?!" BEST. DECISION. EVER. She was soooooo so sweet and so helpful right from the start! She isn't a wedding planner, but yet she had a ton of recommendations and suggestions that were a huge lifesaver! She talked us through the craziness that was COVID and was super flexible when we talked about the numerous changes along the way....right down to the day before our ceremony when a wildfire closed the road! She even sent me a gift when I was having a hard time with all of the changes and road blocks (literally and figuratively). I'm actually convinced that Dawn is a living angel. Our photos turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. There are moments I had no idea she even captured that I am so thankful she did. She is a master at her craft and we couldn't have possibly chosen a better photographer for our day. We will be able to remember and relive our best day ever for the rest of our lives. From day one she wasn't just our photographer, she was our friend and I'm so grateful for her!!! Thank you, Dawn. We love you!!!

Where do we even start with this magical adventure?! We knew early on that we wanted to elope. Considering no one else would be there we knew the most important thing in telling our story would be the photos. Justin left the decision on a photographer largely up to me as I *admittedly* have a hard time being at ease with new people. After talking with Dawn on the phone I knew she would be the perfect fit. I felt completely comfortable with her right away. When it came to planning we really had no idea where to start. We knew we wanted to get married somewhere in a forest and I’ve always loved Oregon but had never spent time south of Portland. Dawn not only had AMAZING location ideas but she also sent over Airbnb, makeup, florist, and officiant recommendations! When the time came for our engagements I was pretty nervous, I really don’t like having my picture taken. Dawn instantly made us comfortable with her easy going and fun personality. She had a wonderful way of “posing” us without actually posing us much at all. We felt like we had known her forever and were just hanging out with an old friend. The day of the wedding was seriously so magical! She took us to this quiet spot in the Redwood Forest where we said our vows. The lighting gods were on our side and we had the most beautiful sun rays coming through the trees that Dawn captured flawlessly. Something we didn’t see that day was all the little detail photos she was taking along the way. Anyone looking at those photos now can see the story of our day. Looking back on this day now, we were looking for a photographer but in reality we got so much more. I truly can’t imagine us having spent this day with anyone else. It was perfect.

Dawn is the sweetest soul. She made all of our “Ireland” dreams come true in the PNW when our original Ireland dreams fell through due to covid-19. She made us feel so comfortable in the whole process of picking a different location. She sent us links to all the best spots and airbnbs. Because of Dawn, we had the freaking coolest elopement spot with all the Ireland feels. There is literally not one of our wedding photos that we don’t just LOVE. We are so thankful to have chosen Dawn, not only because she’s absolutely the BEST photographer, but because she helped make our elopement everything we could have imagined! We can’t wait to have more photos taken by her in the future.
