Do you know how I know eloping is where it’s at? Because I did it. I eloped in Italy with my partner and proposed to HIM in Scotland at the top of a mountain in Glencoe. We rented a boat and drifted along the Sardinian coast drinking cheap beer we bought at a local convenient store. We said our vows atop a mountain that I found remotely from my office in New England. I found my dress at a thrift store for $25-it was actually more expensive to get it altered! We ended our night on a rooftop terrace sharing a five-course meal over local cannonou wine and did our first dance in our hotel room in our PJs. This is exactly the day I dreamed of. I want people’s wedding day to be the full expression of who they are whatever that looks like, if you are brave enough to be yourself and you want someone to help tell the story that you will then pass along to your grandchildren I am the photographer for you. It is a brave act to be yourself and I help couples tune out all the noise and look inward and create a day that represents them uniquely. It is not about getting the shot, it is about your photos actually representing the real moments – and for the real moments to be spent doing everything you ever dreamed of.
Let’s go on an adventure, explore the uncharted. Yes it is nice to get that photo for the gram but what is even nicer is if when you go to look at that photo it transports you back to the real adventure and experience you had. On your wedding day I want you to be present, truly enjoy the people closest to you, and I want us to push the limits of what anyone believes is possible for a wedding day. Wanderlust runs through my veins, I have made it my life’s mission to let every place I have ever been touch my heart and change the way I see the world. There is no adventure too wild or out there, the world is our oyster. Let’s go beyond a checkmark on a bucket list and let’s get lost on the unbeaten path.
