This is a review… sorry, a glowing review of our wedding videographer & photographer, Francis Sylvest. We could sense the quality and craft he would bring to our photos during our first interview with him. He gave us confidence that he would not only capture the photos we wanted but with a quality that would marvel us many years from now. His communication and response times going forward were quick and understandable. To say that he met our expectations, would fail to capture the praise and thanks due to Francis. As we reviewed the photos from our most wonderful day, we were stunned. The scenes are expertly framed and the light and color, pristine. They are sooooo good. And the photos are ours, forever, and made easily accessible online. Francis adapted to all the moments of our day seamlessly. He blended into the background and was un-noticeable during our vows or when we acted candidly. In our staged poses, he scaled the immediate terrain in order to capture all the best angles. Francis also brought insight into his experience as he recommended poses and captured fine details we never thought of. On top of all this, Francis leveraged his local knowledge of the Boulder area to help us find the most perfect spots to say our vows and take sunset photos. He led the geographical plan going into our elopement day that enabled us to drive to our locations and focus on the joy of getting married, rather than lose time driving around, searching for the best spots. With Austin, we got exactly the film & photos we treasure. His help with planning our itinerary enabled us to focus on our love and having fun. We are so happy. Francis is an awesome filmmaker & photographer and a great guy. It didn’t feel like we had a photographer with us. It felt like we had a close friend, who happened to be brilliant at taking pictures. From the first time, we chatted about my vision and what we wanted our elopement to be like, I knew I wanted Francis to be our videographer & photographer. He helped with location finding since we were out of state and when I lacked ideas or structure he created timelines and offered insight. When the day of our elopement came, it truly felt like we had a friend with us. My husband is not big into photoshoots or feeling posed and he has said multiple times how comfortable it was. Francis did a fantastic job shooting our elopement! He helped us find the location and helped us with poses. He was also patient and made us very comfortable in front of the camera. He's super easy to communicate with and always encourages you to reach out if you need anything for your upcoming elopement. And the pictures and film speak for themselves! 10/10 recommend.

Francis did a brilliant job with our elopement in Salida, Colorado. We wanted our visuals to reflect the beauty of the area, and he captured the surroundings and our desired laid-back vibe. From the beginning, he was easy to talk to, quick to respond, and professional. We weren't able to meet in person before our wedding, but we spoke on the phone several times and he was able to provide clarity for all my questions and help me understand his work style. I wanted everyone in our film & photos to look and feel relaxed on our big day, and he did an excellent job capturing candid shots.
