Our first introduction to Carmichael Studios was on a mountain, they had no problem hiking up for our shoot! Not only is their work beautiful, we are also impressed with their promptness, flexibility and professionalism.

We loved the creativity that we saw during a friend's wedding photoshoot; and once the photos were printed, we were even more impressed with the quality of their work. Four to six months later we approached Carmichael Studios to photograph our engagement session. It was more fun than I could have ever imagined and the quality of their work was superb. The way they captured the light, the colors, and the sunset made for the most amazing images. Naturally, we hired them for our wedding day. Carla was so easy to work with, she had great ideas, and listened to our ideas as well. We hired Carmichael Studios for our elopement ceremony at the Boulders. We live in northern MN so had to do most of our communication via email. Carla and Michael were so easy to work with and even though we only had them for an hour-we were thrilled with the number of photos we received. We love every one of them- they do amazing work. They also put together a beautiful video. We would recommend them to anyone!

Carla and Michael are amazing photographers. My husband and I aren't use to photo shoots and they made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We had an amazing experience with them from our engagement photos to our wedding they captured every special moment. The video they made of our wedding day was my absolute favorite! They spent so much time with us and I am thankful for all of the hard work they did.

Carla and Michael did such an amazing job shooting our wedding! I can't get over how much I love them. Not only are they extremely talented, they are a blast to be around. My ceremony started later than we had planned, so when it came time to take all of the photos we were fighting the sun. I was worried we weren't going to be able to get all of our pictures in. But Carla and Michael are amazing at getting everyone posed and where they need to be in such a quick and easy manner. They captured all of the must have candid moments and so much more! Looking at the pictures you can feel the atmosphere. Not only did they go above and beyond with the pictures, they made an incredible video. Watching it made me relive my wedding day and I totally cried all over again! I am continuously blown away by their work and will forever go to them for all of my photography needs!
