I’m Jenny. I started shooting weddings through my work as a photojournalist and editorial photographer. My Grandma and Uncle were both photographers. I still vividly remember my 1st darkroom experience at the age of 5. I started shooting with a manual 35mm camera when I was 14. I was a little skater kid who hung out in the East Village. I shot mosh pits and triple ollies and figured out how to get press passes for Beastie Boys concerts.
I graduated The School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Photography and started shooting for the New York Times and for Travel Magazines. My serious wanderlust and curiosity about other cultures has brought me all over the world. One of my greatest photographic accomplishments was a Photo Documentary project I did on the Tibetan Diaspora. I was very fortunate to exhibit that work and have His Holiness the Dalai Lama attend the opening. He held my hand as we walked through the exhibition.
My days are filled with playing with my 2 beautiful daughters, who show up on my Instagram all the time. In the warmer months, I love gardening and tending for our backyard chickens.
