Outdoor Wedding Venues in Washington

Nature Bridge

If you’re big on leave no trace (LNT) principles, then Nature Bridge in Olympic is probably one venue you want to consider. Your wedding actually makes a difference here since this venue provides hands-on environmental science programs to more than 700 schools each year! Nature Bridge also partners with the National Park Service to preserve the natural and cultural resources of the area. We also love how this venue has so much to offer from a romantic inn to get-ready, overnight accommodations, outdoor ceremony locations, and indoor dining options.

River Valley Oasis

In Snohomish County, you’ll find a venue that’s probably PNW’s best kept secret for intimate weddings. River Valley Oasis is by Pilchuck River and is both secluded and gorgeous. You’ll get privacy among the trees and a pretty great deal when renting there! We also love how this venue gives couples the freedom to be more creative when it comes to their wedding vision.

Freestone Inn

In the North Cascades, close to Seattle and Spokane, Freestone Inn has a peaceful and romantic setting with epic mountain views. We love this wedding venue year-round and the fact you can also stay overnight here. We also love the feeling of being in a seclusive location but having all the amenities. This is perfect for couples who want to have a combination wedding ceremony and elopement adventure.

Skamania Lodge

Just across the border and in the gorge (Stevenson, WA), Skamania Lodge is massive, and there are several options for ceremony sites and tons of trails for exploring for portraits. There’s also disc golf, a restaurant and bar, a spa, and a ton of other stuff to do to entertain a small guest list without them ever having to leave the property. Ideal for when folks want to do something small and give guests a lot to do, all together in one place.

Washington Forest Wedding Venues

Treehouse Point

Probably one of the most unique Washington state wedding venues, perfect for elopements and small weddings, is Treehouse Point. This venue is 30 minutes from Seattle, nestled in a forest along a river. You can plan your wedding ceremony here and even spend the night there too! This is the perfect wedding venue to escape, disconnect, and enjoy your special day.

Fern Acres

Located on the Olympic Penninsula in the town of Forks, Fern Acres is a romantic option when looking for a forested venue for your wedding. It’s secluded in 5 acres of forest. We love this venue because it works perfectly for micro weddings and big weddings alike. You’ll feel like you’re walking through a fairytale with moss-covered old growth stumps, ferms, and draped vine maples. They have elopement and micro wedding packages for 15 guests!

Islandwood

If you’re looking for whimsical, then Islandwood is probably the venue for you. This spot is a short ferry ride from Seattle, and it’s probably the most remote, and intimate forest venue in WA. You can explore forested trails, a pond, a meadow, a garden, two treehouses, a suspension bridge, and a canopy tower. We think this is the perfect spot for couples looking to plan a wedding day that is not so traditional

Seattle Wedding Venues

MV Skansonia

MV Skansonia is probably one of the coolest waterfront venues we have seen in Seattle. Permanently docked on North Lake Union, you’ll get panoramic views of Seattle’s skyline for your ceremony. We can’t think of anything cooler than that!

Woodinville Lavender

Just 30 minutes from downtown Seattle nestled in Woodinville Wine Country, you’ll find Woodinville Lavender. This venue is close to Seattle but is private and 100% unique. The lavender field and gardens make for the most romantic portraits! They also specialize in small events, so it’s perfect for an intimate wedding. Elopement packages start out at $2,000+.

Sadie Lake Events

This is in the Seattle area and tucked away from it all. This venue has a lake, fields, windmill, and an entire house to rent. They have intimate wedding packages. Sadie Lake Events is perfect for guests to spread out for games, walking around the lake, and generally just exploring and having fun while celebrating.

Barn Wedding Venues in Washington

Tin Roof Barn

The Tin Roof Barn is within the rolling hills, apple orchards, and green pastures of the Columbia River Gorge in the Pacific Northwest. This barn venue in WA also offers smaller wedding pricing, starting from $4,500 on a weekday.

Rein Fire Ranch

Rein Fire Ranch has an awesome property to explore, including a barn, gardens, and gorgeous meadows. They offer elopement package options for weddings of 50 guests or less. This venue is nestled within Sugarloaf Mountain Valley and it’s 45 minutes from downtown Seattle and Tacoma.

Des Moines Beach Park Event Center

Des Moines Beach Park Event Center is 20 minutes south of Seattle, on the waters of the Puget Sound, with views of Olympic mountains and Pacific Northwest Islands. Snoqualmie Point Park

This is definitely not a wedding venue you would immediately consider, but Snoqualmie Point Park is great for elopements and intimate weddings. Despite that, this is a great affordable option with facilities and awesome views, perfect for a simple ceremony and then adventure after.
