Colorado Wedding Venues With Mountain Views
Sapphire Point Overlook

Sapphire Point Overlook is easily one of the most popular spots in Colorado for both elopements and intimate weddings. This spot overlooks Lake Dillon, along with the Gore and Tenmile mountain range for your ceremony. This is also a great affordable option for couples who don’t want to break the bank on “venue fees”.
Looking to have an outdoor, adventurous wedding day near Breckenridge? All you have to do is reserve a two-hour time block through Recreation.gov. Your wedding at Sapphire Point Overlook will cost about $120!
Spires Ranch

A new, outdoor wedding venue in Colorado is Spires Ranch. The owners of this venue actually have over 30 years of combined experience in the industry and personally developed the venue to provide a personal wedding experience. We hear sunrises and sunsets here are pretty amazing with panoramic views of the continental divide.
Maroon Bells Amphitheater

Another popular spot for elopements that can easily accommodate a small wedding is Maroon Bells Amphitheater in Aspen, CO. This spot is only ideal for ceremonies, like most park options we mention. Receptions are not allowed, and the maximum number of guests allowed is 50 (which is perfect for your small wedding).
If you’re interested in renting this outdoor venue, then head to reserve your date and pay the rental fee ($200). What does your fee cover? A private area for your ceremony with the best mountain views you’ll see. Your fee also allows you to have a more intimate experience without tourists.
Chautauqua Park

If you’re looking for another cheap wedding venue in Colorado, then Chautauqua Park in Boulder is gorgeous. This is probably one of the most popular locations to explore in Boulder. We recommend planning your micro wedding during the weekday. We also love sunrise ceremonies at this location. What do you need to do to have your wedding here? Boulder OSMP will require you to reserve a picnic shelter or specific ceremony site. If you’re planning on having an arch and chairs, then you can also reserve the lawn outside the Chautauqua Dining Hall. You can only elope on the trails if you’re having NO guests and your photographer has the OSMP permit for photography.
Holy Cross

Looking for a venue with a 360-degree view? Holy Cross is at the top of Vail Mountain within the Rocky Mountains. Here you’ll be able to see Vail Valley and Gore Mountain Range. This venue in CO is available from June through September. You’ll have to pay a site fee and lift tickets per person.
Woods Walk

Looking for a ceremony spot that involves some hiking? Wood Walk is a 2.9-mile trail near Crested Butte, CO. We love this area because you can have so many portrait opportunities with different backdrops. From Mt Crested Butte to the grassy field and aspen trees. It’s also considered a relatively easy hike you can have your friends and family join in!
Beaver Creek Wedding Deck

Getting to Beaver Creek Wedding Deck just takes a chair lift to get you to the mountain wedding ceremony venue with Gorge Range views. This is a ceremony-only location, featuring stone seating. Sunrise and sunset wedding ceremonies here are pretty amazing. The ceremony fee starts at about $2,000, and then you’ll need a lift ticket per guest.
Halfway House Flagstaff

The Halfway House on the summit of Flagstaff Mountain is perfect for micro weddings. You’ll get the famous Colorado mountain backdrop and an enclosed stone (perfect for a wedding arch) in front of the Boulder Valley. About 49 people can fit here and this spot is also dog friendly. Renting this spot is incredibly easy, all reservations are made through Boulder County.
Black Mountain Lodge at Arapahoe Basin

Black Mountain Lodge is located at 11,500 feet at mid-mountain. The deck has some of the most epic views for your mountain wedding in CO. Perfect for your ceremony and reception, this venue also overlooks large fields of wildflowers.
Mountain wedding Garden in Crested Butte

What’s more romantic than mountain views among wildflowers? In Crested Butte, within the Elk Mountain, Mountain Wedding Garden provides the perfect backdrop for your small wedding ceremony and reception.
Ridgway State Park Overlook

Within the San Juan Mountains in Colorado, you’ll find Ridgway State Park. Close to Ouray, CO, this outdoor venue spot offers a gorgeous overlook with mountain peaks and a sparkling reservoir! There is also an area you can use for your reception if you’re planning on having a small picnic with loved ones. Ceremony fees range from $135 to $400 with a reservation.
Lioncrest Manor

In Boulder County, close to Denver, Lioncrest Manor is on a private 50-acre estate. The mountain wedding venue offers 360-degree views during your ceremony, while also providing indoor and outdoor reception options too. They offer multiple wedding packages from inclusive packages to ceremony-only packages.

Stunning views in romantic seclusion, that’s what North Star Gatherings guarantees. We love this wedding venue and everything it stands for. They are big on the environment and actually donate a portion of all wedding proceeds to the Navajo Water Project to help bring clean water to Navajo households. With Rocky Mountain views, multiple ceremonies and reception options, and inclusive packages, this venue is a winner in our book.
Piney River Ranch

The perfect mountain wedding venue that you’re able to tailor to your needs. Right on the edge of Piney Lake, within Gore Range, Piney River Ranch is surrounded by backcountry wilderness within the White National Forest. This venue is also perfect for couples who want to explore and enjoy summer activities. After your ceremony, you two can go fly-fishing, canoeing, or just relax and enjoy the view.
Outdoor Wedding Venues in Colorado
Sunrise Amphitheater

Sunrise Amphitheater is one of the more affordable venues in Colorado. This spot is also a favorite among our adventurous couples who want to explore Lost Gulch, Chautauqua Park, or Artist Point before or after their ceremony. Even though there are a ton of wedding venues in Boulder, CO, Sunrise Amphitheater has our favorite views by far. This venue is open from May to October of every year, and you can actually reserve this venue up to two years in advance! The rental fee can be as expensive as $400 and as inexpensive as $100, depending on if you’re a resident of Boulder and what time slot you select.
Evergreen Lakehouse

Evergreen Lakehouse is the definition of the perfect lakehouse venue for your micro wedding in Colorado. It’s intimate, overlooks gorgeous views, and is romantic. Your fees will depend on when you want to plan your wedding. You can book your wedding from around mid-March through the first week in December.
Flying Horse Ranch

Church Ranch Event Center

Church Ranch Event Center is a great indoor and outdoor option for wedding venues in Denver. You’ll get to enjoy waterfalls, Aspen trees, gardens, and other gorgeous views at this venue. Even though this venue has a capacity of 450 people, they also see multiple small weddings here too.

Did you know Wild Basin Lodge allows only one wedding a day to provide complete privacy for the couple and their guests? You even have 13 acres to explore, which means endless photo opportunities. For your ceremony, you can say your I do’s at Meadow Peak or River Run.
River Bend

Lyons Farmette

We love this venue for its remoteness and feeling on top of the world. This venue also accommodates up to 45 people for an outdoor wedding. Need an overnight stay?
