Moab is one of the best places to elope in Utah. A lot of couples team up with our experienced elopement vendors for their adventure elopement there. But what if you want to have a small wedding there? We created a guide for the perfect wedding venues in Moab for your intimate wedding.

If you’re looking for more adventurous places to elope or plan your micro wedding, then check out our Moab elopement guide.

Moab Wedding Venues We Love

Under Canvas Moab

Under Canvas Moab is probably one of the best places to plan a small wedding with your closest family and friends. It’s just 7 miles north of Moab near Utah’s Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. This desert glamping accommodation is probably the best getaway for couples looking to include family and friends, but also takes more of an “elopement” approach when planning their wedding day.

Keep in mind to maintain the natural, peaceful experience at their camps, Under Canvas allows groups under 30 people for a small wedding. You’ll also need to stay at least a 2-night minimum, and a relaxed event is highly recommended. So if you imagine sitting around the campfire and stargazing with your closest friends and family, then this venue is perfect for you.

Whispering Oaks Ranch

Looking for mountain views in Moab? You can get that at Whispering Oaks Ranch. This 50-acre private mountain property has gorgeous views of the La Sal Mountain Peaks. We love this wedding venue because there are 7 cabins, perfect to accommodate 45-65 guests. If you’re planning on having a wedding ceremony with more than 35 guests, then the entire property must be reserved. Whispering Oaks wedding season is from late May through mid-October.

Sorrel River Ranch

Moab is known for its iconic arches, canyons, and red rock mesas. What better way to appreciate these epic views than a riverside resort on 240 acres of Moab? Sorrel River Ranch has rustic cabins, an on-site restaurant, and a variety of activities to entertain your guests. The ranch wedding venue is available year-round, so it’s perfect for a unique winter wedding venue in Utah or the perfect summertime celebration.

The Red Earth Venue

One of our favorites is Red Earth. This wedding venue in Moab, Utah feels like you’re renting your own private national park. You’re surrounded by red rock cliffs, and gorgeous views, and you’re located in the heart of canyon country. It’s 10 minutes from Moab and a short drive to Arches, Canyonlands, and Deadhorse Point, making this the perfect option for adventurous couples. Small weddings here start at $2,200.

Canyonlands by Night and Day

Did you know Canyonlands by Night and Day offers a rental facility for weddings? They can accommodate up to 280 people, but this area is also great for a more intimate wedding party too. Your wedding can be held on a deck or onboard a boat, overlooking the Moab Valley.

Glamping Canyonlands

Another option close to Canyonlands is Glamping Canyonlands. This is a husband and wife owned off-grid glampground with different tent options. This is a great option if you love the vibe from glamping, but are looking for something a bit more intimate than Under Canvas.
