“This is a bridal session after the couple’s real wedding earlier this year (same outfits!). Liz and Matt had to reschedule their wedding to a much earlier date than planned. Then, the morning of their new wedding date there was a torrential downpour that their venue couldn’t accommodate. So then they had to change venues the day of once again. Despite all of this, it was still a beautiful day full of love focused on what truly matters.

While it was super special, it wasn’t the day they pictured. When I heard their story, I thought they deserved epic carefree bridals above the clouds!” [Rachel, the photographer]

Permits and Planning

“For Muir Woods, it is recommended to purchase entrance fees in advance. However, if someone in your group possesses a valid annual or lifetime pass or intends to buy one upon arrival, do not purchase entrance fees in advance. America the Beautiful pass works here and I highly recommend this option. It’s $80 for entry to all national parks and federal recreational lands for 1 year.
