I've been a vendor on various wedding directories and as an elopement photographer I can say that Wandering Weddings is by far the BEST of the best. They focus entirely on helping connect couples who want to get married in untraditional ways with vendors that specialize in just that. I've had the absolute pleasure of working with some of the most incredible people because of Wandering Weddings and I can safely say that I would not be even half the small business that I am without their directory. Nick and his team are personable, communicative, and transparent and they are constantly brainstorming, innovating, and finding ways to help both couples and vendors find one another to create pure elopement magic for everyone involved. And with in-depth planning resources, location guides, real elopement features, and so much more, Wandering Weddings is truly the go-to place for all things elopement/intimate wedding. I would give a million stars if I could!

I wanted to take a quick minute and express how unbelievably grateful I am for Wandering Weddings. As a preferred Northern CA vendor, I’ve not only booked a ton of elopements at dreamy locations (Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Big Sur, and a full day with a hot air balloon ceremony!) but they’ve also been with my ideal clients! Additionally, I was also lucky enough to act as a Beta tester for their social media management and – seriously – I highly recommend if you’re thinking about outsourcing! Before they got involved, my posting to Instagram was haphazard at best, which meant super low engagement when I finally found the capacity to share anything. And my business Pinterest was just a hot, incomplete mess of sloppy pins by a previous SMM. But then WW came along and just crushed it from the start! I finally have Reels! IG Stories with actual client interaction (outside of comments about my jerky pets)! In July alone, profile visits were up 111% and I reached 187% more accounts than before! Pinterest required a bit more work because of the sh*t storm left behind by the last person, but they got it all gussied up and Google analytics already shows traffic to my site from the new pins! So if you’ve been thinking about giving WW a shot – either for a preferred vendor spot (which I know are hard to get now) or looking for social media management, I couldn’t recommend either more!

This is such an incredible resource for folks planning an elopement. It's the only directory and planning website devoted specifically to outdoor, adventurous elopements that I know of, and the team who operates Wandering Weddings is incredibly dedicated to keeping their information up to date, relevant, and valuable. Not only do they provide an easy way to find vendors that specialize in small, adventurous wedding celebrations, they also continually create and share valuable articles and other resources catered specifically to eloping folks. Basically, if you're looking for a place to find all sorts of content and assistance in planning an elopement, this is the place!
