My style is a mix of romantic storytelling, and poetic luxury. Telling stories with empathy and intuition, I confidently guide my clients to EXPERIENCE their wedding or elopement, rather than be stuck in the production of it. As a laid-back personality with a knack for in depth planning, I will be as involved as you need me to be in helping plan an elopement experience that is meaningful and true to you.
I found my calling in the elopement experience after traveling to Ireland for the first time. Being able to travel alongside my husband, I was completely blown away by the vastness and majesty of the landscapes surrounding me. And being able to hold his hand as we climbed mountains and felt the wind on the clifftops, it deepened our sense of passion & wanderlust. We instantly craved more. I soon realized that the couple we were there to photograph was experiencing that same joy and wonder. And they were getting married to boot! Surrounded by their dearest and best, they were completely engulfed in this happy, awe filled bubble and promising each other forever on that high. It radically shifted my perspective on the value of eloping - not going just to say you did, but going because there is NOTHING that will top the rush of emotions felt during that experience.
As a photographer, my job isn’t just to take pretty photos while there. It’s to cement that it was all REAL. That it happened, that you lived it. You’ll be in such a constant flux of emotions, and so the photos serve as a tangible reminder of what you did, who was there, and how you made it your own. We are there as your memory keepers, and your fellow adventurers. We are there to carry your dress through the mud and keep your veil from flying off into the ocean. We are a part of the experience, and so it’s EXTRA important that our connection is strong.
I create with thoughtful and artistic intention. Never one to play it safe, I love to push the boundaries of what I know and create from the heart. I connect with personalities of all kinds, and make sure that all my couples feel comfortable and supported throughout the process. And as a storyteller first and foremost, I confidently and passionately look for ways to tell your story in an engaging, deep, and meaningful way.
I frequent the New York & New Jersey areas and have worked extensively in Europe - including weddings and elopements in Ireland, Italy, France, and Greece. I live and breathe new experiences and would love to follow wherever you lead me.
