Washington + Destination Elopement Photographer

Sally is, without exaggeration, the best photographer I have ever worked with — and hiring her was the single best decision we made for our wedding.

She specializes in elopements (which I always dreamed of), but since my partner wanted a family wedding, we decided on a destination wedding at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Utah. Sally didn’t just adapt — she elevated the entire experience. She brought the magic, artistry, and intimacy of an elopement into our full wedding day and made it feel entirely “us.”

From the very beginning, Sally went so far above and beyond. I have no idea how many hours she spent location scouting, but it felt like we had a personal guide to every breathtaking hidden spot in the area. She uses special location-scouting tools and gave us a curated list of photo spots that matched our vibe perfectly — a total dream for a couple trying to plan a million other things.

Months before the wedding, a park manager casually mentioned that Sally had already reached out to secure permits for photo access. I mean…who does that? She thinks ten steps ahead at all times.

On the wedding morning, when I realized I had somehow lost my veil (of course), Sally didn’t flinch. She pulled out a sewing kit and, with the help of one of my bridesmaids, literally helped sew together a last-minute veil. It was amazing — and it looked beautiful in the photos.

Speaking of the photos — we got our sneak peeks three days after the wedding, and I genuinely gasped. Every single image was next-level gorgeous. Nearly every comment I got when I posted them was some variation of: “WHO was your photographer?!”

Sally is an artist. She captures light, emotion, and beauty in a way that is rare and wildly special. Her work is full of heart, intention, and experience — and you can feel it in every frame.

If you are lucky enough to work with Sally, you will get more than just stunning photos. You will get peace of mind, an insanely skilled professional, and a human being who will show up for you in every way. She is worth every single penny — and honestly, more. I'd hire her again in a heartbeat.

Sally did such an amazing job and made us feel so special. She gave us such good directions to make memorable shots while also listening to what we thought would look good. She even made our dog photogenic. My husband and I cannot recommend her enough and in 25 years we hope to have her photograph our vow renewal. Her nature shots are amazing too; one day she will be featured in National geographic. These are just our first look photos by the way which she got back to us in less than 12 hours. Will include full resolution photos when we receive those :)

Choosing Sally as our elopement photographer was the best choice we’ve ever made! From day one Sally was invested in helping my husband Dominick and I create our perfect day. She has a laid back style and warm personality that helps even the most anxious person(Me!) feel at ease and made it so that we never felt uncomfortable, whether it was in front of the camera or with any of the details leading up to the big day. But our absolute favorite part of working with Sally is her attention to detail. When we first booked with her, we got a welcome package with her curated guide to elopements, as well as some other cute goodies. After our wedding, we received a package with a framed photo from our wedding day and a thank you from Sally for allowing her to be a part of our special day. Sally was nothing short of phenomenal during our elopement. She went above and beyond on creating a relationship with my husband and I prior to our wedding which enabled her to really capture the moments that mattered the most to us. Not only is her photography amazing, she helped direct me towards obtaining the appropriate permits for weddings within glacier national park. She curated a great list of potential wedding locations, and she even had advice on ordaining a family member for our wedding as well. I know booking a photographer you do not personally know may be stressful, but Sally eased so much of my stress the months leading up to and the day of our wedding. I cannot say enough good things about her!

Sally photographed our fall wedding in the Olympic national park. Even with the heavy rainfall, multiple changes in weather and lots of changes in the plan for the day, she captured everything so beautifully. I could not have asked for a better photographer. Sally was always available to answer questions, was very professional and attentive! Sally went above and beyond for us on our day and I cannot thank her enough. Sally photographed our elopement in a dream-like style better than we could've imagined! She helped with timeline & location planning, including accommodating our guest's accessibility requirements. Even as a solo photographer she managed to capture all the important moments of our elopement day without us even noticing. We didn't feel like Sally was making our celebration into a photoshoot, unless we asked her to. We are looking for a reason to work with Sally again!

Sally made our dream mini wedding come true! She helped us plan for our big day for a year leading up to it and was so very communicative the whole time. Sally felt like a friend we’ve known forever. She is so sweet and we were so relaxed and comfortable around her. She was so knowledgeable about different ceremony spots, hikes, local vendors and any other little detail you could need to put together your big day.
