I'm a Washington Adventure Elopement Photographer with over 7+ years as a local focusing on elopements. I'm a smiley, upbeat photographer with a wide range of expertise that ranges from nuanced details to well-known ideas and concepts about landscapes, trails, timelines, permits, light, weather and so much more. I’ve got an in-depth planning process to reduce your decision fatigue so you have all the tools to take your day from dreams to reality. I’m a Leave No Trace aware photographer which means you’ll be partaking in something bigger than your wedding day: the opportunity to make sure we keep these places beautiful for years to come so more couples can be like you! I'm in my romantasy era and so appreciate the epic places I get to work give the most amazing backdrops so your day can look like your favorite romantasy novel!
My Photography Style
Most of my couples tell me they are shy or don't know what to do which I LOVE. Real people, in real places, with real love. Through my process we get to know each other and this really creates the foundation and base for your connection on your elopement day. If you already know me, we're already joking and laughing together which means when I show up to your elopement day, you don't have to worry about not vibing with your photographer and even though you might be a little nervous before saying your vows, it eases you into my camera a little more.
And then when my camera comes out, I like to leave space for you, but I also give guidance. I give you general ideas on what to do and I want to make it your own. As we photograph and I see you need more help, I step in and give more help, but I also know when to step back and just let you be you! I call this directed documentary. I always help you find the best light and frame the scene for artful portraits, direct you when needed, but then let you be you!
You’ll truly be able to say: "Damn, we did that!"
