Hey! My name is Rose and I am the owner/found and keeper of all things Matlai Photography.

I'm so pumped you're here and looking to elope in the mountains! I love to be outside, find breweries to people watch in and give all the pets to the pups. As a photographer, I focus on capturing the intimate, authentic moments of your story. With a background in travel and documentary photography, previously working in international non profit storytelling, my style speaks to those looking for the organic story with the greatest value being in experiences over things.

Based out of Colorado, with a constant regard for its neighboring states and a serious passion for the wild that is Alaska, I tenaciously pursue adventures and where ever the road takes me. Bonus if you're a fan of craft beer, because we have those in spades too.

I am a visual storyteller, and like so many adventurers out there, thrive on the capturing sensational and meaningful moments.
