If you have found your way to the reviews for Kelsey and are still reading reviews then my first piece of advice is to stop immediately and reach out before she is fully booked for the time you'd be needing her! Working with Kelsey is a dream. As a person, she is thoughtful and comforting more than I could explain. Particularly being a 2020 #CoronaBride there's been a lot of ups and downs in the wedding planning process and somehow Kelsey stepped in for the role of friend, bridesmaid, planner, and day of coordinator. Oh - and she still managed to capture EVERYTHING on her camera! Her work is beautiful to say the least. Working with her on actual shoots feels so easy and comfortable, being the subject of her photos is legitimately fun. She gets to know you and wants to capture you and your love in it's own authentic way. Sure there are some posed photos, the kind that you'll be happy to have and look at and maybe also stare at with disbelief that's actually you... but for the most part she wants to you laugh and love and be dynamic and just be yourself. She captures real, pure love. And that, to me, is how I want to look back at my wedding day. The real moments. The in-between moments when you're not doing anything in particular. Kelsey is the kind of person that brings out the best in others and can spot the best, too. So, if you've read this far and are still not sure then I have no words for you. But if you've read this far with a smile just thinking about working with Kelsey, I can personally promise that you'll truly have the best day ever with her. I cannot wait for any and every reason to continue working with Kelsey in the future!

I've used Kelsey a few times now and can say Kelsey goes beyond her job. If you take her on, she takes care of the whole experience, not just your pictures. When she walked in on my wedding day she was so excited and full of joy, making me instantly feel that way too. The whole day I felt relaxed because she stepped up and brought everything and everyone together for us. She solved each worry, hurdle, and concern I had, made sure we had fun, and enjoyed our moments, provided us with early sneak peeks of our gallery for the ones who weren't with us that day and we received our photos within the same week. Her style is unique, special and she captures the real moments that you'd want to remember. All the time you feel like she's also your closest friend and not someone behind the camera. I'd recommend her a thousand times over.

My fiancé came across Kelsey’s website by a stroke of pure luck when searching online - since we’re not from the area. And booking Kelsey was without a doubt the absolute best decision we made when considering eloping. She made the entire process so easy yet so detailed and special. She was wonderful. She helped every step of the way with any questions we had and helped us stay organized all while having so much fun! Her boyfriend Tom even married us who was equally awesome! The ceremony was so completely perfect and intimate! Total tearjerker! It couldn’t have been a better experience. Her work is incredible! Our pictures are something out of a magazine. But she is so much more than an INCREDIBLE photographer. She played such a HUGE role in our day by suggesting so many things to us since we had never travelled to Acadia National Park in Maine (ceremony location ..picnic location ..hair/makeup ..restaurants ..flowers, etc.) I put my complete trust in her the moment we met her. She’s one of a kind! Such a genuine, fun, and kind soul! She made me feel at such ease when I was nervous the morning of the big day and just kept us laughing our whole wedding day! All the small details she incorporated were just so special. She will make your day so unbelievably perfect! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! NO WILL WILL COMPARE!!!

Like most couples this year, we cancelled our destination wedding due to Covid but decided, fairly last minute, to elope regardless. From the very first meeting, Kelsey was so kind and warm, we felt like we were chatting with a friend and not an unknown photographer. She went above and beyond our expectations, even driving out to meet me at our elopement location a few days ahead of time to ensure we knew the right spots to share our vows, enjoy the sunset light, and more. On the day of our elopement, Kelsey delivered with her amazing energy. She’s not there to stiffly pose you, she’s there to document the real moments for you as a couple and while she’ll offer direction when you need it, she’ll awe you by catching all the beautiful, genuine, special, tearful, joyful moments you’ll remember forever. She’ll laugh with you, give you space during your most intimate wedding moments, and cheer you on along the way and, as a result of her work, our wedding photos feel truly authentic, candid, and just gorgeous. I want to say that, in the planning process I felt most nervous anticipating being in front of a camera for so long. I am not a person that feels comfortable having my photo taken and, like lots of women, can be fairly critical when I see myself in pictures, but with Kelsey I felt no anxiety and just enjoyed the moment — even with tears on my face, wind in my hair, nose red and cold from the freezing temperature. I didn’t have the anxiety of needing to check my make up, or self-consciousness about my body being posed in photos, because she kept the focus on the real moments of our elopement day. And looking over the pictures, I feel beautiful and feel so thankful to have the magic of the day captured — we’ll treasure these photos forever. Thank you thank you thank you to Kelsey!

Let me start by saying that if you are considering booking Kelsey, book her now! And, if you aren't considering it, and you're just casually looking, find a reason to work with her :) My partner and I had a big wedding planned for 2020. When that was canceled, we decided that we were going to do something much more "us" and elope. We knew we wanted an adventure elopement, a day that allowed us to hike, drink beer, explore, and have a campfire. What we didn't know was how incredible that elopement day was going to be. It was super important to us that we found an incredible photographer with a personality to match, someone we would want to spend the entire day with. After our call with Kelsey, we knew we had found that person. Kelsey is seriously one of the most incredible humans. She was our photographer, officiant, pack mule, cheering squad, scout, compass, and guide. With only two months notice, Kelsey was able to take what we were looking for, give us location options, vendor options, and ideas for our all day adventure. Kelsey was in constant communication with us leading up to our elopement. The day before our elopement, she did all of the hikes that we had planned on doing herself, just to make sure that everything was perfect. We were a bit stressed about eloping during a pandemic, but Kelsey immediately put us at ease. She takes social distancing seriously and wore a mask the entire time she was with us, which was a long time. She also went above and beyond to find hikes that were lightly trafficked, but still delivered with breathtaking views. Our all day elopement started at 5am with a sunrise hike and then a hike to a waterfall for brunch (set up by Grandest Gatherings). We ended the day with a sunset hike with beers, dinner (set up by Grandest Gatherings), and a campfire with stargazing. The day was so much more than we could have ever imagined! Kelsey really went above and beyond for our day. And it didn't end there. She got us sneak peaks the next night for us to share with our family and friends. And she delivered the rest of the photos wwwaaayyy ahead of schedule. We really loved working with Kelsey and are looking for an excuse to work with her again!

Kelsey is a LIFE-SAVER. Let me explain: My now husband and I had a big wedding planned for January 23rd at a beautiful venue in NH. With all this pandemic happening and about 98% of our guests living in Florida, we just came to the conclusion we needed to change plans...ASAP. We decided to have a small intimate ceremony and we decided it should be in November...which was maybe a little over a month to plan. OMG. Kelsey literally held our hand and helped us do everything. She helped us plan, pick out vendors, a place to get married..basically everything she could. The day of the wedding she helped us with everything again. And even after the wedding, just an angel. My now husband and I talked multiple times about how wonderful Kelsey was and we honestly couldn’t be happier we found her (on Pinterest!!). Not to mention the photos were ABSOLUTELY STUNNING.
