I contacted Katie on a Wednesday for a last minute elopement happening that Saturday. Even though she already had personal plans for the day, she cleared her schedule to capture our Wedding Day. I told her where we were planning on getting married because we wanted a view of the mountains in the photos. She made some phone calls and secured us a way better location with stunning views of the mountains. She asked about details on our wedding day and she could clearly tell I didn’t have much planned as I didn’t even have a dress yet. Katie went out of her way and helped me find the most gorgeous dress. On our wedding day, she brought some small props from her home to spice up our elopement location and even threw together a bouquet for me. Our wedding day was on March 21st, it was 30 degrees and very windy. Katie braved the cold weather and captured stunning photos that I will cherish forever. I can’t express how grateful I am for Katie and this wonderful experience. She did not act only as a photographer, but also went above and beyond to act as a day-of planner for me, seeing that I needed help pulling this off. I can’t say enough how appreciative I am to have had such a wonderful photographer work with me on my wedding day. I could not have pulled this off without her.

Katie has been the absolute best to work with. it truly felt like we had our friends next to us on our big day. Everyone couldn’t stop saying how awesome they were to work with, and even though it was a windy day we all couldn’t stop laughing as we battled keeping my veil in place (it flew off 5 different times LOL)! Katie captured all the moments that are so important to me. Not to mention she had sneak peeks to me within days after the wedding which I wasn’t expecting at all, but was so eager to see them! Truly a 10/10 professional. I am so excited to work with Katie for all my future endeavors - I feel as if I gained a friend through this experience and couldn’t be happier. Katie is the person you need next to you on your big day!

We chose her from a lot of research and looking through hundreds of photographers work. We didn't go with a venue that sometimes gives you a handful of options, so we could pick anyone. We picked Katie because immediately you can see how she captures more than just an image in her work. She creates a piece of art! I'm the worst person to photograph, totally uncomfortable, you wouldn't know it in her pictures. I have no pictures in my home, my whole life I've never framed or put up a picture. That has all changed since receiving those she took of us. Don't pass up this great opportunity to work with her. We worked with over a dozen various vendors on our wedding day and Katie was our favorite of all, even my husband has said numerous times - the photographer was the best! You don't ever hear guys notice things like that.
