JoAnne Dunn Photographers

JoAnne recently photographed our elopement in Sorrento, and she was fabulous! Before our elopement, we met JoAnne via video chat, where she took time to discuss our style/preferences as well as tips for our wedding day. Coordinating details with JoAnne and her team was very easy as they were responsive and organized. JoAnne's positive energy is contagious. She is clearly an expert at her craft, and she made my husband and I feel confident, celebrated, and beautiful! I would highly recommend JoAnne to anyone getting married on the Amalfi Coast!

JoAnne and her team were wonderful for our big day. We had calls in advance to understand our vision, any dos/don’ts and any nerves about the photography process which we really appreciated.

They even accommodated our special request which was to create my grandparents’ wedding photograph. It is now printed in our album alongside our own weddings pictures which means so much to us!

Joanne and her team made our wedding day ABSOLUTELY memorable!!!!! Joanne and her team were so professional, such a pleasure to work with, and all so talented!!! Joanne has such an eye for unique and spontaneous locations to shoot photos which were some of my absolute favorites!! The photos we receieved were sooo beautiful and I loved the photo album!! She really captured all of my favorites moments during the wedding!!! I loved working with her and her team so much!! I HIGHLY recommend Joanne and her team!! Thank you again for capturing the special photos from our wedding we will always have to remember!

The memories of our wedding are forever etched in our minds and so much of that is due to you. From the fun we had with the guys in the streets, to shooting my bride and her family in the suite, things seemed to go perfectly and you made everything so enjoyable and fun! The family talked nonstop about how lovely you were with them.

And then the RAIN! Honestly, we ended up with a wedding right out of a movie! There was not a disappointed thought the entire afternoon.

From beginning to end, you were as professional and fun as we hoped and more. You exceeded expectations. Pasquale was fantastic too!

JoAnne met my fiancé and I at our hotel to capture the moment of the proposal and and then took us around Ravello for our engagement photo shoot. She was incredible and made the entire session so much fun. She is super easy to get along with her staff also makes all of the logistics feel simple. The pictures we got back also were so beautiful and above both of our expectations! Nothing but great things to say about JoAnne and her team. I just wish they could come back to the states and take our wedding photos now!

JoAnne is in her own category of talented photographer. We are so lucky that we were introduced to her to capture our special day. Upon meeting her, we knew she was genius in her art. She somehow exceeded our already high expectations on our wedding day. All of our guests still talk about how fun she was and how palpable her energy is. She guided us throughout the photoshoots and caught our natural moments, all the while making us feel like superstars. She surprised us with some previews on the night of our wedding, and we were absolutely blown away. It impossible to pick from all the beautiful photos she took of us and the details she captured. They’re artistic and unique (if you zoom in, there are fun surprises!) and somehow raw and seemingly edited - which we’ve learned is not the case since she uses light when she shoots to capture an image that doesn’t need editing. Her photos are breathtaking and I could not recommend JoAnne Dunn Photographers more highly.

An absolute DREAM! From beginning to end Joanne's professionalism put me at ease and her initiative let me know she was always several steps ahead of me and I that had absolutely nothing to think or worry about the day of my wedding. The moment she arrived she took charge and because she has so much experience in the wedding photography industry she needs no direction on what needs to be photographed. That alone is a dream come true for anyone who has a type A personality like myself! Her booking manager Kim is very informative, knowledgeable and kind and she also plays a big part in making sure everything is taken care of prior to the day of the wedding so all runs smoothly. After researching many photographers in the Ravello/Amalfi/Positano area there was no other photographer that was even close to being as good as Joanne. You get what you pay for and Joanne is worth every euro she charges. I had several guests at my wedding comment on how amazing and professional she was and once the photographs came back I had countless friends/family members say they looked right out of a magazine and they did! There is nothing I would change or wish was any different whether it be before, during or after the wedding in regards to how I was treated as a client of Joanne's or how the photographs turned out themselves. If you are looking for the most beautiful photographs of memories that will last a lifetime look no further than Joanne Dunn, she's the BEST!!
