500 out of 5 stars!!! Could not recommend David enough to be your wedding photographer. We could not have found a more perfect photographer for our day. The entire day was full of laughter and fun, the photos are beyond words. No detail was missed and David’s talent and creativity can be seen in every shot. We are reliving the day through every photograph. Memories for life. We felt like David was a wedding guest, everyone felt so comfortable and you can really see that in every single photo. Thank you David for capturing our day so perfectly, you are incredible. Wishing we can do it all again! 🫶

After getting engaged in September last year, my wife and I came up with the bold idea of eloping to Scotland. We spent weeks in Google searches and Reddit threads, combing through countless portfolios and websites of wedding/elopement photographers across Scotland. Eventually we decided to reach out to David, as his photography style immediately resonated with the vision we had for our day. And what a wonderful decision this turned out to be!

Ever since the initial contact, David was extremely responsive. Both my wife and I are camera shy, but during our first Zoom call David immediately put us at ease, despite being across the ocean. In the subsequent communication, David was really attentive to our vision, and happily agreed to our requests of visiting several locations in Edinburgh we had in mind that were rather far apart.

Meeting David in person on the day of the photoshoot almost felt like catching up with an old friend. His cheerful and humorous disposition made our previous anxiety completely melt away. As we walked through the beautiful city of Edinburgh sharing stories and laughter (our Fitbit clocked over 13km at the end of the day!), David instinctively found unexpected corners, gorgeous backdrops, and fleeting moments that ended up becoming some of our favorite photos. His sense of composition and timing is truly unique.

We absolutely loved our final photos, and so did every family member and friend we showed them to. The style, composition, and editing were just stunning. We feel very fortunate to have David capture our special day, and the photoshoot we were nervous about ended up becoming one of our favorite memories of the trip. If you are looking for a photographer for your big day, look no further. Go with David! We can't recommend him enough!

David is an absolutely amazing photographer! My husband and I were engaged in January 2025 in California and decided we wanted to elope in Scotland. Lo and behold we got married at Woodside Lodge in Loch Goil in March 2025, and David captured our wedding day emotions so perfectly. He has an ease to his energy and his approach. We were able to experience our day so candidly, and David captured our human emotions in ways that represent our personalities and gusto for life. We couldn't recommend anyone else and will absolutely call him again to capture future events and memories when we go back to Scotland. Would 10/10 recommend. We had the luck of being recommend David to photograph our elopement this March and it was the best recommendation we got. He was so friendly and approachable; full of great suggestions, having that artistic eye for ideas that we would never have thought of. If we could give more than 5 stars we would! Working with David was absolutely wonderful. Our wedding took place over two days; the first day with family and the second a private vow reading on the Isle of Skye. David managed to perfectly capture the emotions of both days!! We both tend to be shy, but David made us feel completely at ease, and on both days he brought such a warm and wonderful energy. And the quality of the photos is incredible - the variety of shots he got, the emotions captured, the stunning locations he found for us, and how the wild weather on Skye was no problem at all! The little things we'll want to remember forever have all been captured. Our family and friends still watch the slideshow David created regularly, as do we!! Thank you so much David!!

We had the pleasure of choosing David for our wedding photos in Scotland, and what a pleasure it was! From start to finish, David responded promptly to our emails and kept the lines of communication open, despite the thousands of miles that separate us. Coordination for the event went very smoothly, and David was able to make appropriate recommendations, while remaining attentive to what we wanted for our elopement wedding. On the big day, it was almost like meeting a friend; friendly, smiling and cheerful, he put us at ease from the very first seconds. We really liked his style when it came to taking photos, as he is very discreet, which gave us the impression of being alone and therefore more at ease. He also knew how to guide us when the time came.

For the short evening we spent with David, we laughed, exchanged stories about Scottish culture and even shared a drink. When we received our photos, we were shocked! Such talent! The photos exceeded our expectations. It's fascinating to see how David knows how to capture the moment in his images, the little magical moment that makes all his photos unique. David is not only an exceptional photographer (the photos speak for themselves), he's an incredible person. We are very fortunate to have chosen him to accompany us on this unique day. We would recommend his exceptional services to anyone.

My husband and I are quite introverted when it comes to big events and photos, so having an elopement with a photographer who captured natural shots that weren’t posed was important to us. After having a zoom call with David, we knew he was the perfect photographer for our day. He was also one of our witnesses and drove us to our ceremony in a wee convoy with the celebrant and other witness, which we are so grateful to him for! He made us feel completely at ease, captured all our best angles and what a great time we had chatting all things music and LOTR. We are absolutely over the moon with our photos and so glad David was able to be a part of our special day. The photos capture our emotions and the atmosphere so well, especially with the backdrop of the highlands. Can’t recommend David enough!
