Caroline Vabrit | Iceland Elopement Photographer

Caroline made our dreams come true. From the initial contact, to providing our gallery, Caroline guided us through decisions, made our elopement stress free, and came with incredible suggestions (including our officiant, which was wonderful). The moments Caroline captured will someday be the only memories we have of this day and we’re so happy with the result. We were fortunate enough to have several locations to shoot. We felt as though we were touring the southern coast of Iceland with one of our friends. Caroline has the eye for capturing the most important details, details we didn’t even know were important to us at the time. We can’t thank Caroline enough.

Caroline was nothing less than kind and professional throughout this whole processes. I reached out to her months in advance about her taking photos for my now husband and I while on our trip to Iceland. Throughout those months she stayed in contact with us, not only about our photo session but gave us advice on things to do and places to see. The day we spent with Caroline was a fabulous stress free day, she made us feel comfortable and was willing to go the extra mile (walking in the pouring rain through mud because we wanted pictures by Lupines). If you are in need of a wonderful photographer, we cannot recommend her enough!

Caroline is simply the best. It was the first time for us in a professional session, and these photos were very important to us since they were also to share with our family far away, and she did an extraordinary job. She made us feel very good in the session so that we could relax and enjoy the experience. She was super sweet and told cool stories on the trip. She recommended places to see, and she gave us photography tips and shoe tips. She is great. She always stayed in constant contact throughout the entire process. Caroline is wonderful, and it was a great experience with a beautiful, wonderful outcome. The photos are too beautiful. We highly recommend her.

If I could give Caroline 10 stars I would. From the initial moment of contacting her about photographing our elopement I knew we made a good choice. She recommended so many amazing places to us and answered so many questions that I had. Not once did she even seem annoyed at my dumb questions. She even sent us a map of places we should stop on our trip and helped with our entire itinerary for our 8 days in Iceland.
The day off was amazing. The best weather we could ask for. She drove 10 hours in total that day just for us on top of the 3 hours we sent together hiking. She’s a very easy going person it felt like we knew her our whole lives with how personable and likeable she is.
When we received the photos my jaw hit the floor. I knew they’d be good but they were even better than I could have imagined. I myself am a photographer and look up to Caroline and her work. She’s just amazing at capturing in between moments and perfect landscapes. She’s very talented and the best photographer in Iceland. I wish I could relive my big day over again because it was simply the best day ever. We will return to Iceland eventually and I will definitely book Caroline again.
