There really just isn't enough good stuff I can say about Brittany and Jake... If I could give 6 stars, I would!

My wife and I decided a while back, after seeing the estimate for a traditional wedding in a local venue, that it wasn't worth the money or the hype. We wanted something more personal and intimate since that special moment is to be reserved for us.

Brittany, along with her husband Jake, made sure to capture each and every moment and the emotion of every moment just as we would have hoped! My wife is shy and hates being the center of attention, so naturally getting married, even in front of close friends and family, was unsettling and she really doesn't like having her picture taken...

None of this proved to be a challenge for Brittany as her and Jake seemed to just let things flow naturally, give guidance when it was needed or when they saw a shot through their eyes, and magically disappear so you never even know they were there capturing those little moments when you think no one is watching. You know the ones... the ones so packed with emotion that you can really feel every ounce of love, caring, and passion you share with each other...all able to be felt through the photos Brittany and Jake were able to capture.

If there was anything at all we did right during this special occasion, it was having Brittany and Jake be there to capture these moments!

I’ll get to the photos, but let me give you a real insight into what it’s like to have Brittany and Jake photograph your wedding. Towards the end of the night, one of my guests came up to me and told me it was so cool that one of our friends was able to photograph our wedding. In reality, that was our first time meeting them in the flesh, but they brought the energy of friends who were there to celebrate and support us… oh ya and they take the most stunning photos that you thought only existed in your wildest dreams.

They didn’t just point and shoot, they took the time to understand the vision we had of our wedding day and created that story with their cameras. The photos we got back THE NEXT DAY took our breath away. From the planning, to the pep talks to remind us the day is about US, to the actual day itself, Brittany was a dream to work with from beginning to end.

Choosing to elope with help of Brittany and Jake was the best decision of our lives.

Brittany was always there to help guide me in the right direction and avoid panic attacks. They made my husband and I feel comfortable and were great company along the way.

It was exactly what we wanted, to not worry about planning and decisions. They made everything seamless.

Even with the insane weather they still managed to capture everything beautifully and always persevered just to make us happy. What more could you want from an elopement coordinator/photographer? Just a couple who loves to make other couples as happy as possible on their most special day. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much Brittany and Jake.

Brittany exceeded our expectations!

We are not normally comfortable getting our pictures taken, so we were hesitant about the process. We met with several elopement photographers before deciding to go with Brittany. The first call with her made us feel confident because she was easy to talk to and explained everything clearly for us. Once we moved forward, she was always available, kept us on track for planning, gave us ideas and resources (since we had never been to the locations before), and helped add to our excitement for the event (since it was going to just be the two of us eloping).

As an LGBTQ couple, we wanted to be confident that we would feel completely comfortable with our photographer during our wedding ceremony and pictures. From the get-go, Brittany made it clear that she was excited to work with us like any other couple. This is incredibly important. On the day of the event, she and Jake continued to make us comfortable, even though we had just met for the first time in-person.

Brittany is much more than a photographer. She helped us plan and gave us ideas for locations and activities. She was also very easy going and flexible.

On top of all that, the photos are phenomenal. She listened to our ideas for what kind of framing and composition we wanted in the photos, emphasizing the location in addition to us. The pictures captured exactly what we were looking for and we are very, very happy.

This review has taken me so long to write, because it was so hard to find the words to explain how genuine, amazing, thoughtful, and kind both Brittany and Jake were.

My husband and I experienced the stress, troubles and family micromanaging that comes along with all big weddings and we decided to cancel our big wedding to elope in Utah! From the very first email, we knew these were the people that had to be with us on this day. The day itself brought unpredictable weather (snow storm), but created a fairytale type of day. Even with the unexpected weather, they were calm, positive, and were ready to conquer this day along with us.

I never thought eloping was something I would have chosen for my wedding, but I now believe I would have never wanted it any other way. We received sneak peaks of our photos the day after, and our full album and video came just a couple weeks after. When I say SPEECHLESS I mean speechless. I felt like I could never come up with the words to express our gratitude for all the hard work they put into our photos and video. Our family and friends rave over all of it always … no one believed that someone would climb mountains with us and be able to capture every single perfect moment between my husband and I.

Thank you so much again Brittany and Jake, we will always recommend you to anyone and everyone.

What an incredible experience from start to finish!

April and I knew that we did not want a “traditional” wedding and had a vague idea of something that felt more us but it still felt a bit overwhelming. Enter Brittany!

From that small idea, Brittany helped us bring it to life in such a beautiful way. Her process in planning is very thoughtful with everything geared toward making things easy and relaxed for her clients. She had so many great options for our day and took the time to get to know us, honing in on what could make sense for April and me. Her responsiveness made us feel so well taken care of and let us know how much of a priority our day was to her.

The plan we landed on was perfect. It was such a lovely experience for April and me (and our dog Hazel) and memories we'll have forever.

And after all that... our pictures are absolutely amazing! We got sneak peeks VERY quickly (the next day!!!) and everyone we've shown them to thinks they were ripped from a magazine!

We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Brittany and Jake to anyone looking for a totally unique experience, the highest level of care for your day, and magazine quality pictures capturing it all!

Brittany & Jake surpassed all expectations and can only be described as an “energetic force” behind our special day. We had brutally cold winds and sprinkles to deal with, and yet Brittany and Jake remained positive and supportive throughout the entire day. I don’t think we would have enjoyed the day half as much as we did had they not been there.

On top of that, they were efficient, professional, clear in their directions, and made it easy for us to put complete trust in their vision for capturing our day. We got our Polaroids at the end of the day and sneak peeks of our gallery the next day, and they are STUNNING.

If you are on the fence about hiring Brittany and Jake, I would say this: If you’re looking for a photo team to add more love, laughter, organization, creativity, and ease into your special day, absolutely hire them!
