I'm Ashley! The heart behind Beginning and End Photo. I am a Washington based elopement photographer specializing in Olympic National Park elopements and intimate adventure weddings throughout the Pacific Northwest.

I work with couples who want their wedding day to feel intentional, unhurried, and deeply meaningful. Whether that means exchanging vows in a moss covered forest, along the rugged Washington coastline, or high in the mountains, my focus is helping couples create an experience that honors the start of their marriage, not just the photos.

As an experienced Olympic National Park elopement photographer, I guide couples through location ideas, timelines, permits, and logistics so their day feels supported and stress free. I bring a calm, hands on approach that allows space for real moments to unfold naturally, without pressure or forced posing.

Ashley was a dream to work with. We planned our elopement pretty last minute with about a month and some change before our wedding date. Ashley was able to plan and coordinate everything for us and was very thorough as far as finding places for us to stay and where we could eat with family. She did all the work and gave us multiple choices on locations and a bunch of timelines to fit our needs. When we met with her the day of our elopement she helped us keep our special moments intimate and private from family and friends. In the special vulnerable moments it felt as if I was alone with my husband and she was able to capture the raw emotions as if she was a fly on the wall. We absolutely loved everything she was able to do for us in planning and the day of. My husband and I don’t have a lot of nice pictures of us and after our elopement we have over 400 pictures that are romantic and dreamy. She’s absolutely incredible at her job and her photography skills are unreal. We had such a fun time taking pictures. She gave us our magical forest elopement we always wanted that was budget friendly and last minute. I couldn’t imagine my elopement being more perfect than it was and it wouldn’t have been that way without Ashley and her team. The team Ashley works with is incredible, they’re literally the sweetest and most fun people to be around from the officiant to hair and makeup. I wouldn’t change how we eloped for the world.
