Some couples know exactly what they want and it's not a ballroom. It's a ridge at sunrise, or a waterfall with no one else around, or a quiet meadow where the whole world goes still.
That's where I come in.
I'm Alysa Segovia, a Virginia elopement photographer based in the Blue Ridge Mountains. My home territory is Shenandoah National Park — 105 miles of ridgeline, every season, every kind of light. I've photographed elopements in fog so thick you couldn't see twenty feet ahead, in October foliage so vivid it didn't look real, in rain that made the whole forest go quiet.
What I care about is documenting the day as it actually is. The nervous laughter, the hand squeeze before the vows, the way you look at each other when you think nobody's watching. The moments that belong only to you.
If you're planning an adventure elopement in Virginia or the Blue Ridge Mountains, I'd love to hear what you're picturing.
