A full day adventure in one of the most beautiful regions of Washington state, the Methow Valley, featuring mountain views, meadows, lakes, and rivers. Celebrate the start of your marriage with the perfect balance of time spent with loved ones and alone, all against the backdrop of this very unique, diverse landscape.
You’ll start the day getting ready with your closest loved ones at one of the cozy inns in Mazama. From there, we’ll depart to nearby Washington Pass Overlook, where we’ll take a short and easy hike to a lookout with epic views. We’ll find a quiet spot for you to exchange vows with your family + friends – and the mountains – surrounding you. After you say “I do”, you’ll enjoy a toast and some light snacks, which you’ll have picked up from the renowned Mazama Store ahead of time (don’t miss the freshly baked sea salt baguette!).
Your loved ones will then head back into town for a break, while you two head off on your own “just us” sunset adventure. Our destination will be Cutthroat Lake, where you’ll hike a low key ~4 mile trail to a gorgeous forested lake set beneath Cutthroat Peak. Here you’ll exchange private vows, enjoy a mini cake cutting together, and share a first dance as the sun sets behind the mountains.
After your hike, we’ll meet back up with your loved ones in Mazama, where you’ll share a delicious meal at the Mazama Public House. Afterwards, we’ll head back to your lodging, where you’ll end the night with a dip in the hot tub and some champagne.
