One of the most underrated spots in all of Mt. Rainier National Park is also one of the best places to see wildflowers bloom! We’ll start by exploring an easy-access lake with views of Mt. Rainier behind you, where you can do your first look, exchange private vows, or hold your ceremony if you have guests with limited mobility. After exploring the trails around the lake, we’ll set off on our hike, spotting blooms of every color surrounding us. Soon we’ll reach another lake, which is a perfect place to stop for a longer ceremony or a snack before continuing on to my very favorite view of Mt. Rainier herself.
Once you’ve soaked in the view, we’ll continue on to yet another lake surrounded by vibrant colors- this one will truly take your breath away. We’ll wander the paths and get lost in the magic that only comes alive in this short window each year. At sunset, we’ll watch the mountain turn purple as we make our way back down the trail to the very first lake we saw, where our journey together will end and you two get to drive away as a married couple.
