Your day will begin slowly and sweetly at your vacation rental on Orcas Island, where you will share a quiet morning overlooking the Salish Sea. With coffee cups warming your hands, you will strum guitar strings together and put the final touches on your vows—words carried by the salty breeze, written in rhythm with the waves below.
You will then get ready separately before coming together for a first look. Any lingering nerves are gone as you embrace them in their attire.
Afterwards you’ll meet your family at the docs for your private boat tour around the island. The sea will stretch wide around you as you watch for whales, porpoises, and puffins, each sighting adding a sense of wonder to your day. You’ll have your family ceremony on board with all the wildlife watching!
When you return to shore, you’ll stop at Island Hop Brewery for local bites and brews—a perfect pause to fill your bellies before heading back to your airbnb for a little nap!
As evening draws near, you will journey up to Mount Constitution, where the sky will ignite with the glow of sunset. Here, with panoramic views stretching endlessly across the San Juan Islands, you will exchange your private vows, the ones only for you, as you promise forever. We’ll end with portraits and watching the sun go down, as an exhilarating and joyful finale to a day woven with ocean and mountain magic.
