This is a two-day experience that allows your story to unfold in two distinct chapters.
Day one takes place in the city and is designed for sharing the moment with family and friends. The day begins with your ceremony inside the Capitol Rotunda, followed by portraits in the surrounding rose gardens. Afterward, we move through the city for relaxed portraits that capture the energy and character of the setting. The evening is spent together with dinner in the city, giving space to celebrate, connect, and let the day settle naturally.
Day two is reserved for just the two of you. We begin the morning at your mountain cabin with quiet getting-ready moments before heading toward Mount Rainier. This day is slower and more intimate, focused on exploration and time together. We spend the day moving through mountain landscapes, hiking trails, and open viewpoints, with time set aside for private vows away from crowds. A fire lookout becomes a natural stopping point, offering wide views and a sense of stillness as the day unfolds.
As evening approaches, we remain in the mountains for sunset portraits and begin our hike back down during blue hour. Throughout both days, the experience is documented with digital photography and Super 8 film, capturing the contrast between the city and the mountains in a way that feels timeless and textured.
This elopement is ideal for couples who want to honor both sides of their story. One day to gather and celebrate with loved ones, and one day to step away together and experience the landscape in a more personal way.
