As the first light reaches the canyon walls, you will get ready on opposite sides of the arch before meeting for a quiet first look as the morning unfolds. Seeing each other dressed up for the first time, surrounded by stillness and stone, sets the tone for a day that feels deeply personal from the very start.
After exploring the area and capturing portraits against the dramatic desert backdrop, you will settle into the flow of the morning for an intimate, personalized ceremony in a peaceful setting that feels entirely your own.
Following your vows, you can take time to slow down: perhaps throw out a blanket and enjoy some breakfast pastries, or read letters from loved ones back home. Later in the day you’ll venture out to a lesser known area of Canyonlands National Park that is just mind blowingly beautiful at sunset: you’ll feel like you’re living in an oil painting as you stand on the edge of a canyon and watch the sun dip towards the far-off horizon.
You can soak in the stillness, watch the ravens rise and fall in the thermals overhead, and celebrate your love in whatever way feels most like you. Cut a small cake, pop a bottle of bubbles, share a first dance with no one else around, or enjoy pizza and beers overlooking the canyon as the light fades.
